You built this business. You get to decide what your role looks like now. πŸ™Œ

Most farm owners keep doing the same jobs long after they've outgrown them. Not because they have to. Because nobody told them they could stop.

Being good at something isn't enough in the long run. Sustained success comes from finding and working from your genius. The place where what gives you energy meets what you're genuinely great at.

That's not a dream. That's a decision. Read the full blog here πŸ‘‰ https://vist.ly/57ghi

Money isn't the most important thing in life but profit gives you something most farmers never stop to name.

Choice.

The freedom to decide how you spend your days, how you run your operation, and what kind of life you're actually building. When the numbers aren't working, the farm runs you. When they are? You get your life back.

That's what Greg breaks down inside TOP Producers. Because the goal has always been the same. The business working for you.

With TOP Producers less than 2 weeks away, we'd love to hear what's the #1 thing you're hoping to walk away with. Share it below! πŸ’¬ πŸ‘‡

You didn't get into farming to be average.

The best operations aren't just outworking everyone else. They're running on a smarter system.

Six pillars: Clarity, Financials, Operations, Planning, Bricks, and Team. When those six are dialled in, the business grows without grinding the person running it into the ground.

We've built a free 5-minute checkup across all six.

Should you be worried about wheat prices right now? πŸ€”

Depends on whether you're reading the headlines or reading the numbers.

The headlines say disaster. The US just recorded its worst wheat crop in 55 years. Global production from major exporters is down 50 million tonnes on last year. πŸ“‰

The numbers say something more useful. Stocks are dropping, but only back to five-year average levels. We've gone from an oversupplied world to a balanced one. That's not a crisis. That's a shift.

And shifts create opportunity for growers who are paying attention.

Nick Crundall from Market Check explains that the question isn't whether there's enough wheat in the world. There is. The question is whether you understand what a tighter global balance means for the price you're going to receive and whether you have a strategy built around that, or whether you're still waiting to see what happens.

What's your read on it? πŸ‘‡

The Market Just Gave Grain Growers a Window 🌾

Growers who wait for the perfect price and growers who sell reactively for cashflow often end up with the same outcome: regret.

In Episode 193, Brett Stevenson, Founder of Market Check, and CEO Nick Crundall unpack what's happening in global grain markets, what they're watching right now, and how proactive growers are positioning themselves.

If grain is part of your business this season, this conversation could help you make better decisions before the market makes them for you.

Five farm owners. Five moments that could have broken them.

One couple discovered their cropping had been losing money for years. They exited, reset, and hit their 10-year goals in four.

One family's free-range egg operation was wiped out by a biosecurity crisis. They rebuilt from scratch. Twelve months later, they came back stronger.

One farm owner took three months off, packed the kids in the car, and drove around Australia. The business kept running without them.

No theory. No consultants telling them what to do from a boardroom.
Just real farm owners, real numbers, and the moments that changed everything.

That's Paddock-Tested. A free 5-part podcast from Farm Owners Academy.

Each story comes paired with a 24-question Farm Operating System Checkup - it scores your farm business across the six pillars that top-producing farms run on.

The stories show you what's possible. The checkup shows you where to start.

🌏 have made their way into south-west NSW near Bathurst where we caught up with James, Josie & Jock.

With an incredible view overlooking Mt Panorama, the Suttons have built Sutton Breeding Services, specialising in cattle pregnancy scanning and artificial insemination.

They have developed impressive facilities and are using leading breeding technologies to help improve livestock performance.

We spent time discussing their future plans and how they can use their CAP to put the right strategic steps in place for the next phase of growth. πŸ“ˆ

It's a credit to what can be achieved when you combine industry expertise with a clear vision. Well done team, we look forward to watching your journey continue πŸš€

What does it take to build a farm the next generation actually wants to lead?

It starts with more than profit.

What keeps farming families together, long term, is resilience. Vibrancy. A sense that there's something bigger to be part of. That means looking beyond your own gate. Understanding how your farm connects to the supply chain, to your neighbours, to the industry as a whole, and finding the value that gets created when farmers work together.

That's what makes a farm worth leading.

You hit profitability. You expected to feel relieved.

Instead you feel… flat. 😢

Not because something is wrong with you. Because no one told you that solving the money problem just reveals the next one.

"What do I actually want this business to give me?". That question is uncomfortable. And it's also the most important one you'll ever ask.

Because the goal was never just profit. It was a business that supports the life you actually want. 🌱

And that life is still waiting to be built.
