Baldivis Pre-kindy

🚀✨ This week, we explored space and learned about planets, astronauts, and rocket ships! The children enjoyed singing Open Shut Them 🎵, creating their own rockets 🚀, and sharing their ideas during group discussions. We finished the week with a fun balloon party 🎈 full of laughter, movement, and friendship. What a fantastic week of learning and fun! 🌎⭐

Day 4 we celebrate the amazing Miss Carol. We are super lucky to have to have Miss Carol as a big part of our pre kindy family. Miss Carol brings a wealth of experience and a caring personality to our program. ❤️

Day 3- We celebrate the amazing Miss Caitlin. Miss Caitlin is a massive part of our pre kindy family, she brings a fresh, exciting and creative outlook to our program which we all love. ❤️

Day 2- We celebrate the amazing Miss Taya. Miss Taya is a huge part of our pre kindy family, we all love her bubbly personality and the passion she brings to her role. ❤️

We are excited to share our team and their history within Baldivis Pre Kindy over the coming days.

Day 1- We celebrate Miss Bree who started Baldivis Pre Kindy with a vision to provide a specialist program for 3-5 year olds designed to best prepare them for the first year at school. 😊

This week, the children enjoyed exploring the wonderful world of colours ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 through stories 📚, songs 🎵, art 🎨, and hands-on learning experiences. They had fun identifying colours in their environment, creating colourful artwork, and experimenting with colour mixing to discover how new colours are made.

The children showed curiosity ✨, creativity 🎨, and enthusiasm 😊 as they shared ideas, worked alongside their peers, and expressed themselves through a variety of activities. We also enjoyed a special popcorn afternoon tea 🍿, providing an opportunity for children to socialise, build friendships 🤝, and practise positive mealtime skills.

It has been a fantastic week filled with learning 📖, creativity 🌟, and colourful discoveries 🌈. We look forward to another exciting week ahead!

🐝🌼 This week, the children enjoyed exploring the amazing world of bees through a variety of hands-on learning experiences. We created bee hives using pasta, made beautiful flower and bee artworks, learned about the life cycle of a bee, and even tasted honey while discussing how bees make it.

The children also enjoyed indoor and outdoor play, dancing with friends, and engaging in meaningful conversations about nature and the environment. These experiences supported creativity, curiosity, communication, and social development.

We have had a wonderful week full of learning, laughter, and discovery! 🍯🐝💛

What a wonderful week we’ve had at Pre-Kindy! ❄️✨

This week we explored all about winter, learning what winter looks like and how we can keep warm during the colder months. The children enjoyed lots of creative experiences, including making campfire art and creating their own beautiful winter scene crafts using a variety of materials 🎨🔥🍂

We also enjoyed cooking yummy chocolate crackles for afternoon tea, listening to stories during rest time, and spending time playing both indoors and outdoors with our friends 😊

It has been a week full of laughter, creativity, learning, and fun!

🦖 What a dino-mite week in Pre-Kindy! 🦴

This week our little mini archaeologists explored a variety of dinosaur experiences. The children searched for dinosaur bones in the sensory tough tray, explored our dinosaur set-up, created their own fossils, and made dinosaur skeleton artwork. They also loved investigating the skeleton dinosaur on the light table and engaging in imaginative discussions about dinosaurs. 🦕✨

Through play-based learning, the children developed creativity, communication skills, sensory awareness, and curiosity while having lots of fun together!
