Report koala locations in Frankston, Seaford, Langwarrin and surrounds here.
We currently have multiple Koalas in care from various locations within Frankston City Council limits. For most people they will be blissfully unaware of our amazing koala population we are super lucky to have.
Often they come in concussed, dehydrated and looking terrible, they require and receive full veterinary assessment, blood tests to check health, xrays to ensure no broken bones with our koala specialist vet.
So if you see our volunteers collecting leaf for our koalas, you'll know what they are doing.
If you have Manna, peppermint, lemon scented (a Frankston koala favorite), swamp, messmate or snow gum on your property and would like regular leaf gathering to happen, give us a call.
If you spot a koala that's injured or you are concerned please call 0435822699

All Victorian Koalas deserve Protection
Finally, after all the groundwork done by Jess Robertson & others, of the Koala Alliance of Victoria, the koala killing machine of the Green Triangle *hopefully* will have its day in court!
It's such a tragic shame that many people have known of the grave injustices perpetrated on this regions wildlife for who knows how long & didn't speak up about it. We shudder to think how many lives of native animals have perished in one form or another from turning of the blind eyes. Remember... silence means consent!! There is still time to make a difference by signing the Koala Alliance petition to parliament. Be part of the solution and not the problem!!:
Important Update for Koala Supporters!

Posted from the KOALA ALLIANCE of Victoria.
We’ve extended our petition deadline to 19th August. Due to suspected shadow banning on Facebook & Instagram, we’re now combining our ePetition with paper petitions. Under the rules, just 2,000 paper signatures (or 10,000 combined paper + online) is enough to have this debated in Parliament.
💚 Can you help?
If you’d like to collect paper signatures, please message us with your name & email. We’ll send you the petition file and simple instructions.
This is making waves in Parliament — and the silence from mainstream media suggests pressure from above. Let’s keep pushing for the truth.

If only we had someone like this in Victoria to ensure our koalas and greater gliders are protected for ever
Swedish billionaire Johan Eliasch made headlines by purchasing 400,000 acres of Amazon rainforest in Brazil—solely to preserve it. Rather than exploit it for timber or agriculture, he shut down logging operations and devoted the land to conservation.
His efforts didn’t stop there: Eliasch co-founded Cool Earth, a charity protecting rainforests by working with indigenous communities, and helped launch the Rainforest Trust, which has since safeguarded over 37 million acres globally. His bold move is a powerful example of environmental stewardship through action, not just words. 🌍💚

Inquiry into koala management practices and the impact of the blue gum industry on koala populations - Petitions - Parliament of Victoria
The petition of certain citizens of the State of Victoria draws to the attention of the Legislative Council the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA)’s recent covert aerial culling of approximately 750 koalas in Budj Bim National Park following a fire.
