🎉✨ Today, Friday, 19 June, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Year 5 students from Lindfield Public School and Beaumont Road Public School , and our very own Lindfield College for an unforgettable day stepping into high school life! 🎒📚
Our future students dove into fun classes like Drama 🎭, Sport 🏀, Wood Tech 🪵, Visual Art 🎨, Science 🔭 and Food Technology 🍳, toured our stunning campus 🌿 (the fishpond 🐟 was a crowd favourite!), met our curious and hungry kookaburras 🐦😄, and enjoyed a delicious special lunch at The Bitter Pea 🍽️🌟.
They even got to ask questions 🤔💬 during a lively session in The Lyric 🎶 with some of our amazing secondary students, who shared real-life stories and gave awesome insights into what makes Lindfield College so special! 💙
Huge shoutout to our fantastic Deputy Principals Dennielle and Michelle 💼👏, Head Teacher of Wellbeing Benita 🌈💖, teachers Belinda, Matt M, Daniel, Luke, Matt F and Clare, and all our wonderful students for making the day so inspiring and fun! 🎉✨

🔬✨ Stage 2 Yura scientists have been lighting up our Thursday afternoon by making their own electrical circuits!
Look at this clever idea:
💡 One student explained,
"You make a circuit out of copper tape, secure the lightbulb under and over, then you put a coin battery on the tape and fold the paper over it and — magic — the bulb lights up!"
