Greenacre Public School serves a multicultural community with over 95% of the children coming from backgrounds other than English. The importance of literacy and numeracy is never forgotten by the school as it carries out programs which will ensure that its students develop their Basic Skills. The school has strong discipline, welfare, leadership & public speaking programs together and is very actively involved in Sport.

🏃♀️ Primary Athletics Carnival 🏅
Our Primary students had a fantastic day at the Athletics Carnival, enjoying a range of track events and novelty activities while showing great teamwork and sportsmanship.
Students participated in races, skipping, tug of war, tunnel ball, bean bag toss and many other fun challenges throughout the day. Our House Captains proudly led their teams with enthusiastic cheers, encouraging everyone to show their house spirit and wear their colours with pride.
It was wonderful to see students supporting one another, giving every event their best effort and creating memories that will last.
A fantastic day was had by all!

Our K–2 students had a fantastic time at the Athletics Carnival, showing enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the day. It was wonderful to see parents join us to cheer on and support the students. A great day was had by all!

🏛️ Canberra Camp – Day 3 🚌
After a very early wake up call this morning, our students packed their bags, loaded the bus and set off for the final day of our Canberra adventure.
They began the day at the National Capital Exhibition before heading to Questacon, where students explored the exciting world of science through hands on exhibits and interactive experiences. After enjoying their final lunch together at Peace Park, they began the journey home.
Students may be tired, but they are returning with wonderful memories, new knowledge, and experiences that will stay with them for years to come. What a fantastic three days!

Stage 2 Awards Assembly
Yesterday we celebrated the achievements of our Stage 2 students at our Awards Assembly. It was wonderful to recognise students for their hard work, effort, positive attitude, and commitment to learning throughout the term.
