STEM CUP:

Our students had a fantastic day at Benowa State High School taking on a range of exciting STEM challenges. From engineering and problem solving to teamwork and creativity, every team worked hard, showed resilience and represented our school with pride. Well done to everyone involved!

CONNECTING AND BELONGING THROUGH MORNING ROUTINES:

What a beautiful way to start the day in 3A.

students are given a random classmate’s name and their job is to create a kindness card for that person. It is a simple routine, but it has such a big impact.

These thoughtful cards help students feel invited, welcomed and valued as part of the 3A classroom community. It is a lovely reminder that small acts of kindness can help build strong connections and a real sense of belonging.

Prep families, our 100 Days of School celebration is coming up on Wednesday 15 July.

Over the holidays, please start getting your child’s costume sorted so they can come dressed as a 100-year-old for a fun day of celebration in Term 3, Week 1.

2027 Prep enrolments are now open!

Families with children starting Prep in 2027 are encouraged to submit their enrolment paperwork by 21 July to go in the draw to win a formal uniform pack.

It appears the cleaners have identified a rather large puddle outside Mr Oakley’s classroom this morning…

After a thorough investigation, it has been determined that the moisture may be linked to last night’s State of Origin result. As a precaution, several blue wet floor signs have been installed to warn passers-by of possible NSW tears in the area.

All jokes aside, we’re looking forward to a cracking decider in a few weeks. Good luck to both sides… although we might be a little biased here in Queensland! 😉
