☕💛𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚'𝐬 𝐁𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐚 💛☕

WOW, what an incredible effort from our Parkwood Primary community!

We were proud to take part in Australia's Biggest Morning Tea and we're thrilled to share that together we raised OVER $500 for the Cancer Council! 🎉🙌

A huge thank you to everyone who was rostered on for providing morning tea, and a special thank you to Ms Woz for organising such a wonderful event. We'd also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Ms Bignell for the gorgeous "Check Your Breasts" painted rocks, which helped raise awareness and added a meaningful touch to the day.

Every dollar raised helps support vital cancer research, prevention programs, and support services.

What an amazing example of our community coming together to make a difference. 💛

𝗘𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀:
Children born between 1 July 2022 and 30 June 2023.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁:
Collect an application form from the Administration Office or download one from the Department of Education website while the Parkwood Primary School website is under construction.

𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
• Child’s Birth Certificate or Passport
• Proof of Residency
(utility bill, rates notice, or tenancy agreement)
• Any Court or Care Orders (if applicable)

𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲:
All applications must be submitted by 24 July 2026.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗼𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
Bring your completed application form and original documents to the Administration Office on weekdays between 9:00am and 2:30pm.

Please note: Original documents must be sighted in person and cannot be accepted by email.

What a fantastic start to the morning! 🌟

Our Dance Troupe students were hard at work today, practising and nailing every step ahead of their upcoming performances. We love seeing their confidence, teamwork and dedication shine through! 💃🕺

We also had another energetic 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲, 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲, 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞! session with students getting active before the school day began. 💪🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲, 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲, 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞! is morning fitness for all students every Monday and Tuesday from 8:20am–8:40am in the undercover area. The program supports student health and wellbeing while helping students feel focused and ready for learning.

This is currently running as a three-week trial and will continue depending on student participation and suitability.

𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 - come along and join in every Monday and Tuesday with Mrs Newman and Mrs Rice! 😊
