Helping female athletes perform at their best! Speed | Power | Agility | Strength

19/06/2026

Trust The Process.

If you’re a women who plays football then you know getting into the gym is going to help improve your game day performance.

But with all the information out there it’s hard to know where to start.

My specialty is training female athletes, so here is a glance at one of my Personal Training Sessions with Christy Lee Townsend

We work on moving more explosively, balance, stability, strength and conditioning.

By including all these physical qualities in one session we are making sure this busy mum gets the most out of each session.

Need To Get Stronger?

You don’t need to be in the gym 5 days a week to see results.

For anyone playing footy, just 1 or 2 well programmed gym workouts will still allow you to make strength gains.

Short on time? DM me about small group personal training.

My favourite lower body lift 🔥

Give this one a go next time you’re at the gym.

You can go heavy with less reps or go lighter with more controlled reps.

How do I get more explosive? 🧨

Start with the core.

Before we start producing more force, I want to make sure the athlete is not ‘leaking power’ because they have poor core strength.

The goal is to reduce the wasted energy.

It all starts with the core.

Training Should Not Be Boring.

We play sport for fun, so there is no reason the training we do for it should be boring.

Sick of jogging on a treadmill?

Maybe it’s time to switch it up.

DM me for 1on1 PT, Small Group or Online Programs.

Why do I keep getting injured?

A trap I see a lot of athletes fall into is the dreaded injury cycle.

Get injured, recover, return to playing, get injured again two weeks later.

It can be so frustrating, and you feel like you are missing out.

So how can we avoid this trap?

The best thing you can do while you are injured is to train around your injury.

It might sound counter intutive, because your doctor or physio told you to rest your injury, but that doesn’t mean that you have to spend 6 weeks on the couch eating ice-cream.

If you have an upper body injury, you can train lower body.

If you have a lower body injury, you can train upper body.

People want to take a complete break while they are injured because it’s EASY. Training around your injury is hard.

If you really want to get back on the field and avoid the constant injury cycle, then you need to keep training.

When you stop completely, you not only stunt your progress, but the rest of your body gets weaker and slower. Which makes the rest of your body more susceptible to injury when you return.

Training around your injury is also powerful for your mindset. Rather than focusing on what you can’t do, we are focusing on what you can do.

If you have been struggling with injury, then maybe it’s time to do something about it.

Get off the injury cycle, get back on the field and get in the game!

The Devil Is In The Details.

When it comes to getting faster, it’s all about being precise.

Precise with your form and moving with purpose.

You’d be surprised how much better you can move and how much faster you can get in just a handful of sessions.

SPEED CAMP kicks off in next 1 week.

Need to get faster?

Can I Get Faster?? 🤔

The key to speed is EFFICIENCY

If you’re moving poorly, all that effort will go to waste.

Fortunately a little coaching and some repartition, can go a long way to improving your sprint mechanics and ultimately make you faster.

If you’re ready to be faster off the mark, and first to the ball on game day.
