We're looking forward to welcoming our Trimester 2 students to Murdoch College on 19 June 🎉📚

Orientation Day is designed to help new students feel confident and prepared as they begin their studies across a range of programs and courses! The day will begin with student registration, and addresses from the College Director, College Services Team and former Student Representatives. Followed by a campus tour, and finish off with a delicious barbecue lunch to help students connect with their peers. It's the first step in an exciting academic journey and a great opportunity to meet fellow students and staff.

What can a future in tech look like? For two Murdoch College students, it recently included being named finalists in the 2026 INCITE Awards. 🏆

Their success reflects the practical and industry-relevant skills developed through the Diploma of Information Technology, from programming and cybersecurity to communication and problem-solving. With a clear transition into Murdoch University, the diploma offers a clear pathway for those looking to take the next step in shaping the future of technology in Australia.

May was full of memorable experiences for our Murdoch College student ambassadors 🌟📚

Jireh attended the Australian Chiropractors Association's "A Day in My Life" session, gaining valuable career insights and networking with other students interested in the field. Meanwhile, Himal enjoyed a delicious cheesy boneless chicken meal at Sura Korean Restaurant in Northbridge, and Pao spent time exploring the Murdoch Market, including a visit to the popular book stall.

Our 3rd Student Committee Meeting gave students the opportunity to share valuable feedback on teaching, learning, student welfare, and campus life at Murdoch College.

As a unique representative body within the College, the committee empowers students to contribute directly to shaping their experience and community. Discussions highlighted both positive experiences and opportunities to continue improving academic and non-academic support for students.
