This week our children explored a variety of meaningful experiences to show appreciation, respect and acknowledge the first nations community. through creativity, play and shared learning, our little learners embraced opportunities to connect with culture, community and belonging.

We ended our beautiful reconciliation week today celebrating wear it yellow day 💛 reminding us all of the importance of continuing conversations, learning together and walking alongside one another.

Our little learners enjoyed exploring Japanese culture today as they tried tracing beautiful kimono patterns on their templates during our Wednesday Japanese Day event 👘❤️

Today, as we begin National Reconciliation Week, our children came together to acknowledge and celebrate the rich culture, stories and traditions of our First Nations peoples through group gatherings, art and craft experiences. ❤️💛🖤

We are proud to learn, listen and walk together in the spirit of reconciliation.

Today our Kindy children at Cuddles Kelmscott had so much fun with a shoe matching activity,matching their own shoes and their peers’ shoes too! They absolutely loved exploring, learning, and working together, and they did such a perfect job matching them all. 💛
