What an incredible day yesterday at Altone for our Cross Country Carnival! Our students showed determination, resilience and amazing sportsmanship from start to finish.
Congratulations to Wetj, who were crowned this year’s champions! 🏆👏
A special shout out to the amazing students from Kiara College, who acted as marshals and gave our runners all the encouragement they needed!
Well done to every student who participated, cheered on their teammates and gave their best out on the course 💙❤️💚

Our Year 6 students recently enjoyed another of their Year 6 Big Day Out experiences, spending the day exploring the State Library and Museum of Western Australia.

It was a wonderful day filled with curiosity, discovery and learning. Students had the opportunity to engage with history, culture, science and literature, asking thoughtful questions and exploring exhibits that sparked their interest. Most importantly, our students were outstanding ambassadors for Beechboro Primary School, consistently demonstrating our school values of Organisation, Resilience, Persistence, Confidence and Getting Along throughout the day.

One of the highlights of the excursion was seeing students who enjoy quieter interests and learning experiences completely immersed in the activities. While some of our previous Big Day Outs have focused on physical and recreational experiences, it is important that we provide a range of opportunities that cater for the diverse interests, strengths and passions of all students.

Our Year 6 Big Day Outs take the place of a traditional school camp. Just like a camp, these experiences are designed to provide students with opportunities to learn, develop independence, build relationships and create lasting memories together. Not every experience is centred on high-energy activities; some are focused on exploration, learning and broadening students' understanding of the world around them.

We are incredibly proud of our Year 6 students and the mature, respectful manner in which they represented our school. Well done, Year 6!

We are excited to share with you upcoming our Cross-Country Faction Carnival for children in Year 3-6.

Reminders for the Day:
* Please ensure your child has returned their consent form
* All children must wear suitable running shoes and their faction-coloured t-shirt
* Please ensure your child brings any required asthma medication
* Parents and carers are warmly invited to come along and cheer on the students!
