Just a friendly reminder that our next Parents Connect morning is happening tomorrow at South Ballajura ESC.

Come along for a relaxed coffee and chat with other parents and carers, while connecting with our Family Liaison Officer, Heidi, who is available to offer support, answer questions and help families access useful services and resources.

National Simultaneous Storytime 2026

South Ballajura ESC is excited to be taking part in National Simultaneous Storytime on Wednesday 27 May 2026! This year’s featured story is Luna Roo: The Kangaroo Baller by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, illustrated by Jake Minton.

Students across Australia will come together to celebrate the joy of reading, literacy, imagination and community through this shared storytelling experience.

We can’t wait to see our students enjoying the story through shared readings, buddy activities and creative literacy experiences throughout the day!

Come along this Friday for a relaxed morning coffee and chat with other parents and carers at South Ballajura ESC. Our Family Liaison Officer, Heidi, will be there to offer support, answer questions and connect families with helpful services and resources.

Gerald recently attended his very first camp, a Year 6 Leadership Camp. He had a fantastic time trying new activities and making memories with new friends.

Some of his highlights included archery, basketball, spotlight and seeing kangaroos around the campgrounds! Gerald said he loved the experience and would definitely go on camp again.

Reminder! Senior Assembly is on tomorrow, Friday 15th May in the Undercover Area at 9am.

We look forward to seeing our families and carers there as we celebrate student learning and achievements together!

Last week our students enjoyed a fantastic RAC Road Safety Incursion!
Students took part in hands-on activities and interactive games while learning important road safety skills including safe road crossing, pedestrian awareness and passenger safety.

Thank you to RAC for providing such an engaging and educational experience for our students!

Sway Principal’s Message

Thank you to all of the mums, grandmothers and special family members who joined us for our Mother’s Day celebrations last week. It was wonderful to see families connecting.

TA23 and EC4 Kindy also held beautiful classroom celebrations, with families enjoying afternoon tea, cupcake decorating and special activities with the students.
A big thank you to our staff for helping create such lovely celebrations for our families.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mums, carers and special people in our community.
