๐ŸŒโ˜€๏ธ St. Alban's Primary Class 2 just learned how the sun powers our entire planet.

As part of our "Plug In The Sun" workshop, these little learners dove into the Greenhouse Effect how sunlight gets trapped in our atmosphere and keeps Earth warm enough to sustain life. Little learners. BIG energy. From the classroom screen to hands-on discussion, Class 2 broke down a concept that powers real-world solar energy solutions all in language a 2nd grader could run with.
This is what energy education looks like in Caribbean classrooms: simple science, big understanding, brighter futures.

These programs are created and owned by our partner, and sponsored by BlueCircle Energy. Real change takes real partners.

What's one thing YOU learned about the sun growing up? ๐Ÿ‘‡

St. Stephens Primary just got plugged into the sun.

Students sat down with Relay Education's "Plug In The Sun" workshop and walked away understanding exactly how solar energy gets from sunlight to a working circuit no textbook required.

โ†’ How solar panels actually convert sunlight to power
โ†’ Why renewable energy matters for Barbados' future
โ†’ Hands-on activities that made the science click

This is what STEM education should feel like curious, hands-on, and rooted in real Caribbean classrooms.

Robot Adventures facilitated this workshop, These programs are created and owned by our partner, and sponsored by Blue Circle Energy.
What's one thing YOU wish you'd learned about renewable energy in primary school?

All Saints Primary just levelled up.

Look at this room. Every single seat filled. Every single student locked in. That's not just a workshop that's a whole school catching a vision for what's possible when you put the right knowledge in the right hands.

We facilitated the All Saints Primary Solar Energy Workshop 2025โ€“2026 covering everything from how electricity works to how the Caribbean sun can power our future. From classroom presentations to hands-on kit demonstrations outside, these students experienced solar energy in a way no textbook ever could.

Caribbean kids are ready. Are we giving them enough?

Solar energy just got hands-on at All Saints Primary.

We brought the classroom outside and watched something special happen. Students gathered around, touched real solar-powered kits, asked real questions, and started thinking like engineers. That moment when a kid realizes the sun can literally power a car? Priceless.

This is the All Saints Primary Solar Energy Workshop 2025โ€“2026.

These programs are created and owned by our partner, Relay Education. And Blue Circle Energy is our sponsor and facilitated on the ground by Robot Adventures. Renewable energy isn't just the future. It's a lesson Caribbean kids are learning right now. ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡งโšก

This is what it looks like when STEM gets ignited. ๐Ÿ”ฅโ˜€๏ธ

We don't just teach renewable energy we make it impossible to ignore. The St. Alban's Primary Class 2 โ€“ Plug In The Sun Solar Energy Workshop had every student locked in, leaning forward, and genuinely curious about the world powering their future. From the Greenhouse Effect to real solar energy concepts, Robot Adventures facilitated every moment of this bringing the energy, the knowledge, and the passion to match. ๐Ÿ‘ˆโšก

๐Ÿ˜ด When the Renewable Energy Workshop hits different...

She learned about solar panels, wind energy, and the future of clean power and gave it EVERYTHING she had. We don't blame her one bit. This is what full engagement looks like in Class 2 at St. Alban's. These young minds soaked up every single second, and we are so proud of each and every one of them. ๐Ÿ’™โšก

They didn't just learn about solar energy. They BUILT with it. ๐Ÿš—โ˜€๏ธ

This is the Plug In The Sun Design Challenge and these students just engineered their very own solar-powered cars from scratch. No cap, no shortcuts real hands, real parts, real problem solving. ๐Ÿ”งโšก
This is what happens when you stop talking about the future and start building it.

๐Ÿค– 10 things that happen BEFORE a school robotics workshop and we were there for all of it.

There's a special kind of energy in a classroom right before a robotics session begins. Kits laid out, wires waiting, students peering in with wide eyes. Robot Adventures was proud to be a participant in this workshop, helping bring that spark of STEM excitement into a Barbados school. From setup to the moment the first robot moves every step matters. And every child who walks in curious walks out believing they can build something incredible.

Robot Adventures was honored to participate in the Oceana Innovation Hub Interactive Education Exhibit 2026, an initiative led by the BCC Architectural Studies Group that brought together students, educators, and innovators in a shared space of hands-on learning.

Events like these underscore what we believe deeply: that access to innovation ecosystems isn't a privilege it's a right for every Caribbean young person.
Seeing students actively engaging with technology and design in a real-world setting reinforces the urgency and importance of building robust STEM pipelines across Barbados and the wider Caribbean.

We're grateful to the BCC Architectural Studies Group for curating such an impactful experience, and proud to stand alongside organizations shaping the next generation of Caribbean innovators.
The work continues. ๐Ÿ’™

Robot Adventures was honored to participate in the National Career Showcase 2026, organized by the Barbados Association Guidance Counselors.

This event provided a valuable platform to connect with students and demonstrate how robotics and technology are shaping future career opportunities. Through interactive activities and live robotics demonstrations, students experienced firsthand the creativity, problem-solving, and innovation involved in STEM education.

We appreciate the opportunity to contribute to conversations around future careers and technology-driven learning. Thank you to the organizers, educators, and students for an inspiring event.
