๐ฌIndustrial Visit to Hatim Global Concrete Industries Ltd. ๐ฌ
We are proud to share that, under the initiative of the ACI UITS Student Chapter, Civil Engineering students successfully completed an industrial visit to Hatim Global Concrete Industries Ltd.
This visit provided a valuable platform to bridge academic knowledge with real-world industrial applications. Students had the opportunity to observe modern production systems in action, gaining insight into how theoretical concepts are implemented through automated processes, digital control systems, and strict quality assurance protocols in the concrete manufacturing industry.
From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed with floral greetings and refreshments, creating a friendly and engaging environment. The engineering team guided us throughout the facility with great professionalism. They clearly demonstrated each stage of the production cycle, including batching, precision mixing, block formation, controlled curing, and final quality inspection. Their explanations helped us understand both the technical depth and operational efficiency behind large-scale concrete production.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Md. Amirul Alam (Deputy General Manager - Sales & Marketing) for his continuous support and effective coordination. His involvement ensured that the entire visit remained well-structured, insightful, and highly engaging. We are also grateful to Engr. Achinta Kumer Sarkar for sharing his practical knowledge and technical expertise, which added significant value to our learning experience.
An interactive session allowed students to actively participate in discussions, ask questions, and explore industry challenges and innovations.
This exchange of ideas enhanced our understanding beyond textbooks and encouraged critical thinking about real engineering problems.
As a token of appreciation, our respected faculty advisor, Md. Borhan Uddin Rabbane, presented a crest on behalf of the ACI UITS Student Chapter, symbolizing our gratitude and respect.
We are especially encouraged by their willingness to support students in future research and development opportunities. Such collaboration between academia and industry plays a vital role in developing skilled, innovative, and industry-ready engineers.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Hatim Global Concrete Industries Ltd. for their outstanding hospitality, professionalism, and commitment to knowledge sharing. We look forward to future collaboration and continued learning opportunities ๐ค.
