From Smoke Signals to Smartphones: Class V Explores the Journey of Communication! ☎️📲

As students of Class V, we recently participated in an exciting Global Perspectives activity based on the learning skill “Communication.” Through PowerPoint presentations, project work, and creative models, we explored how communication systems have evolved over time; from smoke signals and carrier pigeons to modern internet systems and smartphones. We also learned about the usefulness and limitations of different communication methods. We enjoyed sharing our ideas creatively, and a glimpse of our wonderful work has been displayed on the wall.

We are delighted to share the highlights of our Preschool Presentations and the vibrant moments from this week’s assembly. Our young learners confidently showcased their creativity, communication skills, and joyful participation through engaging presentations, storytelling, poetry, and role-play activities.

I am proud to share that I, Behzad Marzan Chowdhury from Class III C, have successfully completed Level-8 of the ALOHA Senior Course with an outstanding A+ grade. Through dedication and hard work, I have also achieved the prestigious title of Grand Master in Mental Arithmetic.

I am truly grateful to my teachers, parents, and everyone who supported and encouraged me throughout this journey.

As part of our Global Perspectives subject, we performed a role-play on litter in our playground. We didn’t just act—we investigated the issue by asking questions, collecting information, and thinking of solutions.

Through different roles, we learned to see the problem from multiple perspectives and understand real-life environmental impact.
