History now has a new name: UIU.

At URC 2026, the UIU Mars Rover Team carried Bangladesh to the global stage and achieved an extraordinary milestone:

This remarkable accomplishment is a proud moment not only for UIU but also for Bangladesh and the entire Asian engineering community. Through innovation, determination, and technical excellence, the team has demonstrated that world-class achievements can be built within the laboratories and classrooms of our nation.

Looking back at August 11, 2025, we remember the day when passionate civil engineering students came together with a dream of building a platform that would inspire leadership, professionalism, innovation, and unity. The first gathering under the Interim Committee was not just the beginning of a chapter; it was the beginning of a family determined to create impact.

Through dedication, teamwork, and continuous effort, the chapter has been steadily moving forward toward its goals — creating opportunities for learning, collaboration, networking, and professional growth for future engineers. Every initiative, every discussion, and every step reflects the commitment of our members to build something meaningful together.
