Unpopular thoughts,
some ideals I keep suffering with
& a ray of Happiness that my sun-catchers could never hold..

Scarier than the walk away at Terminal 2,
Is your cold departure in the evening—
Not a glance,
Not a second to spare.
Yet this morning, waving goodbye felt perfect.
What changed in between?

Like the days if the night spoke
Would it deceive or play fair?

Plans faltered, houses fell through,
But no word from you—just silence that grew.
While days and nights crept without end,
You stayed like a guest I could not defend.

Behind the lies, behind the veil,
You twisted the truth until it turned pale.
And now you ask for things to mend,
But I am sorry, I am no Saint.

How could I know the struggles you kept?
How could I sense the tears you wept?
I am no mind reader, no prophet of fate—
I am sorry, I am no Saint.

You curse, you rage, you want me to fall,
But I stand here steady, after it all.
I’ve sent you my prayers, sent you my grace,
But still you’ve blurred the lines we trace.

So, I’ll react, I’ll speak, I’ll question why,
Your logic falters as you continue to lie.
And if you expect karma to tear me apart,
Then let it come, let it start.

I am sorry, I am no Saint,
But I won’t let your shadows taint
The home I’ve built with honesty and light,
Even if your secrets cloud the night.

I feel bad, I feel torn,
But I won’t wear the crown of thorns.
I’ll speak the truth that you’ve disguised,
And face the storm with open eyes.
I am sorry, I am no Saint.

So, I died on the mosaic floors

In the red painted walls

in the drenched kitchen

& in the creepy rooftop

that you have left unattended

I woke up from the deathbed

but it was beloved to me

much more than you ever were

The deathbed reminded me of you

kept me closer to your memories

held me tighter to embrace your faults

This weather woke me up

Soaked in water, a sudden awake

that startled the world

not happy, to be precise

they called for my death

they wished for my departure

So, I woke up today

& the world is crying

was I gone for too long?
