ইংরেজি বাক্যে Having এর ব্যবহার

Having হলো Have ক্রিয়ার Present Participle (V-ing form)। এটি বিভিন্নভাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়। সহজ ভাষায় একে একে দেখি।

---

১. Possession (কোনো কিছু থাকা বোঝাতে)

এখানে having = থাকা / অধিকারী হওয়া

Structure:
Having + noun

Examples:

Having a car is very useful.

একটি গাড়ি থাকা খুব উপকারী।

Having good friends is a blessing.

ভালো বন্ধু থাকা একটি আশীর্বাদ।

Having enough money makes life easier.

পর্যাপ্ত টাকা থাকা জীবনকে সহজ করে।

২. Perfect Participle হিসেবে

যখন একটি কাজ আগে সম্পন্ন হয় এবং তারপর আরেকটি কাজ ঘটে, তখন Having + Past Participle (V₃) ব্যবহার করা হয়।

Structure:
Having + V₃ + rest of the sentence

Examples:

Having finished the work, he went home.

কাজ শেষ করে সে বাড়ি গেল।

Having eaten breakfast, she left for school.

নাশতা খেয়ে সে স্কুলে গেল।

Having completed the project, they celebrated.

প্রকল্প সম্পন্ন করে তারা উদযাপন করল।

পরের কাজ Main Clause

৩. Having been + V₃

Passive অর্থ প্রকাশ করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Structure:
Having been + V₃

Examples:

Having been informed of the news, he became happy.

খবরটি জানানো হওয়ার পর সে খুশি হলো।

Having been punished, the boy became careful.

শাস্তি পাওয়ার পর ছেলেটি সতর্ক হলো।

৪. Having + Object + Past Participle

কাউকে দিয়ে কোনো কাজ করানো বোঝাতে।

Examples:

I am having my house painted.

আমি আমার বাড়ি রং করাচ্ছি।

She is having her hair cut.

সে চুল কাটাচ্ছে।

পরীক্ষার জন্য গুরুত্বপূর্ণ নিয়ম

Rule 1

দুটি কাজের মধ্যে প্রথম কাজটি আগে শেষ হলে:

Having read the book, I returned it.

Rule 2

যদি Subject একই হয়, তাহলে Having ব্যবহার করা যায়।

✔ Having finished the work, he went home.

✘ Having finished the work, Rahim was praised by the teacher. (অর্থগত সমস্যা হতে পারে)

সহজে মনে রাখার কৌশল

Having + V₃ = "কাজটি করে / কাজটি সম্পন্ন করে"

যেমন:

Having finished = শেষ করে

Having eaten = খেয়ে

Having written = লিখে

Having completed = সম্পন্ন করে

এটাই পরীক্ষায় Right Form of Verbs-এ সবচেয়ে বেশি ব্যবহৃত Having এর নিয়ম।
