The GBAAC visited Jack Hayward Senior High on World AIDS Day and partnered with the students of 12H1, who were leading the assembly! Ms. Joyce Pinder, committee member, read the WAD message on “Letting Communities Lead” and Ebony Forbes, a finalist in the speech competition centered around the Health and Family Life Curriculum being enough to prevent the spread of HIV and STI’s, shared her speech. The students were reminded to abstain from sexual activity and to look to their parents for guidance so that they make wise decisions about their sexual health that will positively affect their future!
