The College of Natural Resources is proud to support our student, Dechen Pem Dey Chen from Environment and Climate Studies 3rd year, in her candidacy for the Asia Pacific Youth Network (APYN) Committee Election 2026, representing the Bhutan Red Cross Society.

Through the CNR Red Cross Club, our partnership with the Bhutan Red Cross Society empowers youth to engage in humanitarian service through first aid training, disaster preparedness, blood donation, environmental campaigns, and community outreach. Beyond local initiatives, BRCS also provides dedicated volunteers with opportunities to participate in leadership trainings, workshops, youth exchanges, and humanitarian forums at both national and international levels, fostering learning, collaboration, and global engagement.

We wish Dechen every success in the APYN Committee Election 2026 as she continues to represent the values of youth leadership, volunteerism, and humanitarian service.

𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝟭𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗵𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗻!

All graduates who have registered to attend the 17th Convocation of the Royal University of Bhutan, scheduled for 17 June 2026 at the Royal Institute of Management, Simtokha, are kindly requested to collect their graduation gowns on 15 June 2026 from 10:30 AM onwards at the Office of the Vice Chancellor, Royal University of Bhutan, Thimphu.

A security deposit of Nu. 1,500 is required at the time of gown collection. Of this amount, Nu. 1,200 will be refunded upon return of the gown, while Nu. 300 will be retained for gown usage and upkeep.

All graduates are also required to attend a mandatory dress rehearsal on 16 June 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Multipurpose Hall, Royal Institute of Management, Simtokha.

The Convocation Ceremony will be held in the afternoon. Therefore, you are requested to report to the Royal Institute of Management, Simtokha at 12:30pm on 17 June 2026.

We kindly request all employing agencies to grant necessary leave to graduates to facilitate their participation in the Convocation Ceremony.

"Champion Block :- Block 5 🏆"
Resident Councillor Tandin Tshewang (FST 4th)

The results of the Residence Live Award (RLA) for the seven blocks, which were announced on June 1, 2026.

Congratulations to Block 5 for securing the first place with an impressive score of 192.82! We would also like to extend our congratulations to all resident students for their hard work and dedication, as well as to our Resident Councillor, Tandin Tshewang, for your exceptional leadership throughout this competition.

The final results are as follows:

The final mass cleaning for the Spring Semester was successfully conducted on June 4, 2026, around the college campus with the active participation of students and staff. The cleaning activities included grass cutting, litter collection, drain cleaning, and sweeping of roads, pathways, and common areas. This initiative helped improve the cleanliness and appearance of the campus environment, ensured proper waste management, and promoted a sense of responsibility and teamwork among participants. The program contributed to maintaining a clean, healthy, and pleasant learning environment for the college community.
