Holiday Safety Awareness Session
19th June, 2026

Wamrong Primary School conducted a Holiday Safety Awareness Session for students from PP to Class VI to prepare them for a safe and enjoyable vacation. The session provided practical guidance on personal safety, responsible behavior, and making wise decisions during the school holidays.
Students were reminded to stay safe at home and outdoors, follow road safety rules, avoid risky activities, use digital devices responsibly, and seek help from trusted adults whenever necessary. The session concluded with an encouragement for all students to enjoy their holidays while staying smart, safe, and healthy.

International Day of Play
11th June, 2026
Wamrong Primary School joyfully celebrated the International Day of Play under the theme “Protect Play, Protect Childhood.” The celebration brought together students, teachers, and staff in recognizing the importance of play in promoting children's physical, social, emotional, and mental wellbeing.
A variety of games and sporting activities were organized after school, including both modern sports and Bhutanese indigenous games. Students enthusiastically participated in the activities, demonstrating teamwork, creativity, sportsmanship, and joy. The celebration highlighted the importance of providing children with opportunities to play, learn, and grow in a safe and supportive environment, making the day both meaningful and memorable

SBIP Session on Green Upshift

Birth Anniversary of Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen

Wamrong Primary School joyfully celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen, Ashi Jetsun Pema Wangchuck. Students, teachers, and staff gathered together to honor the occasion and offer prayers for Her Majesty's long life, good health, and happiness.
As part of the celebration and in observance of environmental conservation, the school community planted 36 rhododendron saplings around the school campus. The program was conducted with great enthusiasm and reflected the values of unity, gratitude, and environmental stewardship inspired by Her Majesty.

Coronation Day of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo

Wamrong Primary School proudly celebrated the Coronation Day of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo with great respect and gratitude. Staff Spiritual Tour
Coordinated by Non-Academic Head the staff of Wamrong Primary School undertook a spiritual tour to Sheytimi, Tokshingma Lhakhang, Khardung Anim Dratshang, Rangjung monastry, and other sacred religious sites with the aim of seeking blessings, spiritual enrichment, and inner peace. The tour provided an opportunity for staff members to strengthen their spiritual wellbeing while fostering unity and camaraderie among colleagues.

During the visit, the staff paid homage at various temples, monasteries, and sacred sites. Prayers were offered for the wellbeing, happiness, and success of the school community, including students, teachers, and staff members. The participants received blessings from revered lamas and spiritual masters, seeking guidance, protection, and prosperity for the future.
The tour also allowed staff members to gain deeper insights into Bhutan's rich spiritual and cultural heritage.

The serene atmosphere of the sacred sites provided a meaningful space for reflection, mindfulness, and personal growth. Through prayers, offerings, and religious rituals, the participants experienced a sense of spiritual renewal and inspiration.

Beyond its religious significance, the spiritual tour strengthened bonds among staff members through shared experiences and collective participation in sacred activities. It served as a reminder of the importance of spiritual values, compassion, and harmony in both personal and professional lives.
