The road was never easy, and for many days it was painfully lonely. There were moments of doubt, silent battles unseen by others, and struggles faced alone—times when giving up felt easier than continuing. Yet, through resilience, courage, and unwavering belief, perseverance prevailed.

Today, we proudly celebrate Dr. Khagendra Ghimray, who has successfully defended his PhD in Biotechnology, marking a historic milestone as the first Bhutanese to complete a PhD on “Investigation of the Molecular Modulators of COX-2 in Chronic Inflammation.” 🎓🔬

This achievement is not merely an academic milestone; it is a testament to strength, discipline, and years of relentless effort. Dr. Khagendra’s success reflects not only personal excellence but also the collective support of his supervisor for invaluable guidance, his family for constant encouragement, and friends, seniors, juniors, and well-wishers who stood by him in seen and unseen ways.
