Inter-House Khuru Competition – 9th June 2026

Our school successfully conducted the Inter-House Khuru Competition, celebrating teamwork, sportsmanship, and the rich heritage of Bhutan’s traditional game.

Students from all houses participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their skill, precision, and coordination. The event was filled with excitement as teachers and students came together to support and cheer for their respective houses, creating a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere.

Beyond promoting physical fitness, the competition strengthened students’ appreciation for Bhutanese culture and traditions. Congratulations to the winning house for their outstanding performance, and heartfelt appreciation to all participants for their dedication, team spirit, and active involvement.

Today, our school celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm and responsibility. To mark this important occasion, all students and teachers actively participated in a mass cleaning campaign organized by the school. The program aimed to create awareness about protecting and preserving our environment.

Students and teachers worked together to clean classrooms, school surroundings, playgrounds, and nearby areas. Everyone participated wholeheartedly, showing teamwork and dedication towards keeping the environment clean and healthy. The activity reminded us that maintaining cleanliness is everyone’s responsibility.

The celebration was meaningful and educational as it encouraged students to develop good environmental habits. Through this mass cleaning program, we learned that even small actions can make a big difference in protecting our planet for future generations.

Inter House Degor Competition succesfully concluded.

The traditional Bhutanese game called degor is a popular sport in Bhutan, deeply rooted in the country’s culture and often played during festivals, gatherings, and celebrations.

Degor reflects the strong sense of community and cultural heritage in Bhutan, blending physical skill with social interaction and traditional customs.

Congratulations to all the participants for your remarkable sense of responsibility to promote the culture of playing traditional games. Degor is more than just a game, it’s a social event that brings communities together and united.
