METALLURGICAL CLERK

Job Description
Under the general supervision of the Production Metallurgist, the Metallurgical Clerk is responsible for administrative support to processing department while continuously aligning daily functions.

Job Responsibilities
• Prepare and file daily, weekly, and monthly metallurgical, operations, safety reports, accomplished through interpretation and transfer of data from operation worksheets, metallurgical reports, assay lab data and crew meeting minutes.
• Compliance with all company policies and
procedures including, but not limited to safety,
environmental, confidentiality and code of conduct.
• Meets or exceeds established performance expectations set by management.
• Consistently exercises discretion and judgment in job performance.
Punctuality and regular attendance required.
Performs other related functions as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures regarding inventory management.
Reconciling inventory discrepancies and
investigating root causes of variances
• Providing administrative support to plant management, including data entry and report generation
Conducting regular physical inventory counts and reconciling results with inventory records.

Requirements

• BGCSE
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong data entry accuracy
