🫧🔬 Our Little Scientists at Work! 🔬🫧

Today was all about bubbles, curiosity, and discovery at Hillside Nursery School! 🌈✨

The children had so much fun blowing bubbles into the air… and then taking their exploration even further! 🫧💨 We poured bubble solution into bowls and began experimenting:

🌈 Adding drops of food colouring to see what would happen
🥤 Blowing through big straws to create foamy bubble clouds
🌀 Using a handheld manual mixer to watch the texture change
🍃 And of course… a few surprise “ingredients” like leaves finding their way into the mix!

It was wonderful to watch our little scientists conducting their experiments - observing, predicting, testing, and discovering how things change. 🧠💡 Children are naturally curious, constantly exploring and learning about the world around them through hands-on experiences.

Activities like this promote:

✨ Fine motor skills (gripping straws, mixing, pouring)
✨ Hand-eye coordination
✨ Sensory exploration
✨ Language development (describing what they see and feel)
✨ Critical thinking and problem-solving

Most importantly, it shows how powerful learning through play can be. When children are free to explore materials and ideas, their creativity and confidence truly shine. 🌟
