I AM Special Education Society Shines at Kweneng Regional Special Olympics
Molepolole, Botswana – October 30th, 2025

The spirit of sportsmanship and inclusion was on full display at the Kweneng Regional Special Olympics, held in Molepolole from Sunday, October 26th to Friday, October 31st, 2025. The week-long event brought together athletes with intellectual disabilities from across the Kweneng District to compete in a range of sporting disciplines, celebrating ability, determination, and unity.

Among the standout performers was I AM Special Education Society, which delivered a remarkable performance, earning a total of 16 medals plus position 2 for both female and male category in the Kweneng Regional Special Olympics beauty contest. The school’s talented athletes brought home 10 gold, 6 silver, and 2 bronze medals—an extraordinary achievement that placed the center among the top-performing institutions in the region.
