Thanks again for taking part in Sled Island 2026!
Many people don’t know that Sled Island is a registered charity, and pass/ticket sales only cover 25% of our annual expenses, so we depend on donations in order the keep the fest going!
Once again, we are honoured to be a part of Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink.
This non-profit program is under the Calgary Shaw Charity Classic Foundation, and is a program designed to help raise new funds for local charities.
All donations made until August 31, 2026 will be matched up to 50% through the Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink program!

Happy National Indigenous Peoples Day!
We were thrilled to showcase such a wide range of talent and creativity this week, with 23 acts featuring Indigenous artists working in diverse genres!

Once again, we were very fortunate to start off the festival with a special elder blessing, this time led by Elder Francis “Butch” Wolfleg, which took place at Central United Church on Wednesday, June 17.
On Friday, June 19 at the , we had our annual showcase in partnership with - an Indigenous-led organization who helped us curate a special lineup celebrating Indigenous artists.
