What did you change your mind about this week?
Did you change your mind easily, or did you cling on a wee bit longer than you should have?
Changing your mind isn't weak. Yes, some people can view it like a failure, but it's the opposite - it's flexibility, awareness, maturity, and growth.
And the change doesn’t have to be monumental - it could be something small and simple such as changing your diet, sleep pattern, or social media consumption.
You're allowed to change your mind. Everyone is.

Gary Gillan Coaching
I’m a life and leadership coach with one main aim – to help all clients fulfill their underused or untapped potential. Let's Go!
I work with individuals and groups / teams to move them forward. You have the tools and skills to live your best life.
The importance of celebrating your successes throughout your journey cannot be overstated.
Sometimes we can get caught in the trap of moving from one thing immediately to the next thing without taking any time to pause, reflect, learn, and celebrate.
That’s not cool at all.
When did you last pause to celebrate something, instead of just moving on?
Sometimes we subconsciously rank achievements and only attach celebration to the larger ones.
You're allowed to do that. In fact, I’d like to insist that you do that. Celebrating your own work is honouring the time and effort you poured in.

How often do you consider your safety as a core element of your week?
We can tend to push through the week on autopilot, rarely stopping to notice where we actually feel safe - and where we don't.
Think about it - where have you felt most safe this week, and where did something feel a wee bit off?
Those feelings are valuable data points. Your sense of safety, or the lack of it, tells you something about the people, the places, and the conversations you move through every day.
Notice the pattern(s). Once you can see them, you can do something about it.

100 days. 100 runs. At least 5K, every single day.
For an old fart whose previous record was 11 consecutive days, it still feels a wee bit unreal.
It didn't start as a goal - more a "I wonder if I could do 12." Then 50. Then I wondered what 100 looked like.
But it was never really about the running.
It's about what happens when something matters enough that you make the time instead of doing something else.
And being proud of yourself feels genuinely great. And we really should let ourselves have more of that.
So what's something you've stuck with longer than you thought you could?
🎙 The Hidden Gap Holding High Achievers Back - And How to Close It with Dr. LaChelle Wieme
You already have everything you need. You just forgot.
Dr. LaChelle Wieme left a 20-year career in anesthesia - and as the family breadwinner - to build a life on her own terms.
She didn't have a roadmap. She had one aligned step. Then another.
What she discovered changed everything she thought she knew about confidence, identity, and why smart, driven people stay stuck.
Perfect for: Ambitious professionals, entrepreneurs, and high achievers who know what they want but can't seem to close the gap between who they are and who they're meant to be.
Your transformation: You'll walk away with a completely different understanding of where confidence actually comes from - and a practical way to access the version of you that already has it.
Key takeaways:
→ Confidence isn't a prerequisite for action - it's the result of it
→ Fix your thoughts, feelings, and habits all you want - if the identity underneath is shaky, the whole structure wobbles
→ Your ancestors didn't just pass down their limitations - they passed down their strengths too
→ When you're spiralling, you're not weak - you're dysregulated
→ Three affirmations that cover every limiting belief: I am safe. I am capable. I am worthy

People aren't thinking about you anywhere near as much as you think they are. Psychologists call it the spotlight effect.
You might think that people are tracking your moves, weighing your wins, and noticing the missteps. They're not. They're too busy living their own life.
Consider how much of your life you shaped around an audience that isn't really watching.
So stop handing your decisions to a crowd that isn't there.
This is your journey. Chart your own path and bring the most genuine version of you, each and every day.

Are you building this week on solid ground or on last week's wreckage?
Think back to how last week actually ended. Is there a conversation, a meeting, or a moment that left you unsure where you stand? If so, take notice of how that uncertainty feels right now.
Unresolved stuff doesn't vanish over the weekend. If you’re not careful it can become the unstable foundation that everything else gets stacked on top of.
And I don’t need to tell you that shaky foundations collapse.
So before you charge ahead with your week, do a wee bit of investigation to determine if there is any debris and/or any repairs required prior to building on top of what’s already there.
Get the foundation solid first. Your future self will absolutely thank you.

We all reflect - but do you know how you reflect best?
I’ve found that there is a distinct difference between thoughts randomly surfacing and actually processing your day, week, or month with clarity and intention.
Think about where you have your regular a-ha moments - is it when driving, reading, in the shower, walking in nature, or that half-asleep moment before you drift off / wake up fully?
Your best thinking has a pattern - and the key is to figure out what it is.
Because if you don't, you're leaving real insight on the table every single week.
Find your ideal reflection conditions, then try to intentionally put yourself there more often.

How many times have you assumed that someone would know something? It turned out they didn’t and now you're frustrated, inconvenienced, and maybe blocked.
But did you ever actually ask? Or just assume?
We often assume someone's experience matches their tenure or title.
Tenure doesn't equal exposure. Five years in a role doesn't mean five years across everything that role touches.
Why don’t you just ask instead of assuming? And ask early. That could save you a whole bunch of time, effort, and energy later - and your future self with thank you.

Sometimes you’re helping and sometimes you’re not.
It could be that you started strong then your life shifted - and somewhere through the journey, you went from helping to just kinda being there.
I’ve had similar experiences, particularly in my volunteer roles over the years.
Think about one commitment right now - a project, a team, a role - consider whether you are genuinely contributing or not.
Sometimes the answer is refocus. Sometimes it's a clean exit. Both take self-reflection, honesty, integrity, and commitment.
What you really need to ask yourself is whether you are staying out of obligation, vanity, stubbornness - or because you're actually adding value?
