Don’t lie

The 2025 babies are either turning 1… or already are 1.

The year of firsts.

First birthday.
First steps.
First words.
First tiny hand reaching for yours.
First time they hugged you back.
First little personality shining through.

One minute, you were bringing them home from the hospital.

Now they’re toddling into every room, making you laugh, keeping you on your toes, and reminding you how fast a year can go.

The 2025 babies are turning 1…

And none of us were ready for how quickly we’d get here.

Science confirms: your mother is always with you - her cells may remain in your body for your entire life.

And this is not a metaphor. It is a biological phenomenon known as microchimerism.

During pregnancy, a small number of fetal cells pass through the placenta and settle in the mother's tissues.
But the process works both ways: maternal cells also enter the child's body during development and may remain there for decades - sometimes for a lifetime.

These cells have been found in the blood, bone marrow, skin, liver, and even the brain.

They may transform into different tissue types, participate in wound healing, and play a role in regulating the immune system.

Send this to the parent who woke up with one tiny foot in their ribs

Cosleeping can look chaotic from the outside, but for many families, it becomes part of how everyone gets more rest, connection, and calm.

For young children, being close to a parent at night can support feelings of safety and security. Their nervous system is still developing, and proximity to a calm, responsive adult can help them settle, regulate, and feel connected.

For parents, it can also make nights feel more manageable.
Of course, every family is different... Some children sleep better independently, some need more closeness, and some families move between both depending on the season they're in.

The goal is not to follow what everyone else says your nights "should" look like. The goal is to make informed, safe choices that work for your child, your wellbeing, and your family rhythm.

There is no one perfect sleep setup for every family.
There is the one that supports rest, safety, connection, and sanity in your home right now ❤️
