Hare Krishna Dear Parents and Well-Wishers,

Over the past few classes at Gopal Vedic School, the children enjoyed learning beautiful pastimes and values from Krishna consciousness in a simple and engaging way.

The children heard the story of Putana and learned how Lord Krishna always protects His devotees with His divine power. We discussed simple lessons such as choosing good over bad, staying safe, and developing faith in Krishna’s protection. During craft time, the children made and decorated shields using paper plates, symbolizing protection and strength.

We also explored the wonderful story of Krishna and Sudama. Through this pastime, the children learned about true friendship, kindness, humility, caring, and sharing. The class included chanting, fun activities, and joyful participation together.

In another class, we observed Lord Narsimha Appearance Day. The children heard the inspiring story of Prahlad Maharaj and learned how faith and goodness are always protected by the Lord. They also enjoyed making a special Lord Narsimha themed craft and participated enthusiastically throughout the activities.

It is always wonderful to see the children learning devotional values with happiness, creativity, and enthusiasm.

Thank you to all parents for your continued support and encouragement 🙏

It has been a joy-filled few weeks as our children dived deep into devotion, stories, and creativity. Here is a quick look at what we’ve been up to:

We explored the victory of Bhakta Prahlad during Holika Dahan, the noble qualities of Lord Rama for Ram Navami, and the sweet pastimes of Krishna stealing butter.

Creative Offerings:From "Jai Shri Ram" flags and butter pots to handmade Sheshnag replicas and jewelry, the children poured their hearts into crafts for Krishna.

Go-Seva:We learned why the cow is so dear to Krishna and practiced the “Namo Brahmanya-Devaya”shloka.

Sankirtan:Special thanks to Mahira, Mira, Prathishtha, Sylvia and Chaitanya for leading us in beautiful, enthusiastic kirtans!
Thank you for your continued support in nurturing these young souls.
Hare Krishna!🙏✨

• They learned about Holi and understood the deeper meaning behind the festival.
• They heard the story of Samudra Manthan and reflected on teamwork, patience, and how Lord Shiva protected the world with calmness and selflessness.
• We discussed Bhagavad Gita 6.26 and practiced how to gently bring the mind back when it wanders.
• They understood that the Maha Mantra and sincere prayer are the most precious treasures in life.

Along with stories and discussions, the children also:

• Created colorful Holi crafts
• Made a drum craft connected to Lord Shiva
• Practiced dance together with energy and enthusiasm

🌸 Glories of Bhaimi Ekadashi 🌸
Bhaimi Ekadashi is a highly auspicious day for receiving the mercy of Lord Varahadeva, the divine protector of the Earth 🌍🐗. Observing this Ekadashi with devotion helps one become free from sinful reactions and strengthens one’s surrender to the Supreme Lord.
Remember the purpose of Eladashi is not just to fast but to dedicate this day in remembering the Lord!
Happy Fasting 😊

We had two beautiful and uplifting weeks at Gopal Vedic School 🌸✨
The children were full of joy and enthusiasm throughout.

Week one was based on the Aghasura pastime 🐍📖
The children learned through a fun story, simple shlokas, and a related craft. We spoke about friendship, protection, and how Krishna always takes care of His devotees 💛

This week was all about Krishna and His friends 🦚👫
The children enjoyed stories of friendship, teamwork, and play in Vrindavan. We did joyful crafts, chanted simple shlokas, and shared lots of smiles 🎨🎶

Learning happened through fun, devotion, and togetherness 😊
We are grateful for these moments and look forward to many more joyful weeks ahead at Gopal Vedic School 🙏✨

Hare Krishna everyone,
This week we also did a cookie decorating craft with the children at our Gopal Vedic School where they created with care and happiness. While decorating, they remembered four steps: be patient and share, be grateful, follow instructions carefully, and do your best with love and focus. After decorating, the children lovingly offered the cookies to the Lord before enjoying them. ❤️😊🙏

Last week at Gopal Vedic School we decorated cookies! 🎄 🎄
Decorating cookies with “Hare Krishna” is a beautiful reminder of the joy that comes from remembering Lord Krishna in every activity! 🍪✨ Here are some reasons why making Krishna the focus of every task is so meaningful:

1️⃣ Brings Purpose to Your Actions
In the Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 9, Verse 27), Krishna says:

yat karoṣhi yad aśhnāsi yaj juhoṣhi dadāsi yat
yat tapasyasi kaunteya tat kuruṣhva mad-arpaṇam

“Whatever you do, whatever you eat, whatever you offer or give away, and whatever austerities you perform—do that as an offering to Me.”
This means that even small tasks, like decorating or baking cookies, can become acts of devotion when done with love for Krishna. 💙

2️⃣ Promotes Mindfulness and Joy
Chanting Krishna’s name while working fills the heart with positivity. It transforms ordinary activities into spiritual practice! 🌸
Example: Decorating cookies becomes more than fun—it’s a way to remember Krishna’s sweet pastimes. 🌿

3️⃣ Teaches Humility and Gratitude
When we dedicate our work to Krishna, we acknowledge that all talents and opportunities come from Him. This helps us stay humble and grateful. 🙏

✨ Whether baking, studying, or playing, chant Hare Krishna or think of Krishna. It makes every task more meaningful and fun! 🎨📚

💡 Mantra for Kids & Adults:
“Krishna, I offer this to You with love!”

🥰Joyful Living with Krishna Consciousness!
