Three “colours” doesn’t always mean three suits — on the NMJL card.
Some hands call for just two suits, but when you factor in neutral tiles (hello flowers, winds, and zeros), your hand can look like it’s running three colours. That doesn’t change the rule — it’s still a two-suit hand.
It’s one of those sneaky spots where reading the card matters more than what your tiles seem to be saying 👀
