Being present is some we are told often. It’s a continual practice of tuning out distraction and being in the moment. Easier said than done a lot of times.
But when you get it, you immediately feel it.
You know you are being present.
Time slows, you begin to notice.
OMIES YOGA
I think yoga is great for so many reasons - and it should also be FUN! Let's be OMies! Yoga for every body. Check website for classes, events & programs.
Celebrate the longest day and shortest night as we approach the midsummer day of summer solstice. This journey travels through the physical & energetic layers of the body, the yogis know as Koshas.
Solstices have been celebrated for thousands of years in various cultures as the tilting peak of the Earth’s poles.
As the sun reaches its zenith, it appears as if the sun pauses in stillness.
Yoga nidra will allow the physical body to soften into deep relaxation, and the mind to release the deeply held beliefs that have been keeping us from expanding into our fullest potential.
Combined with the potent energetics of solstice, there is great potential for shift towards the life you most dream to live.
Using your “I am” statement, or Sankalpa, affirming your truest self. This can be rooted in a few primal needs such as...
o l am enough.
o l am safe.
o lam worthy.
o l am valued.

When I first discovered Yin Yoga,
I wasn’t looking for it.
Like many people, I was drawn to practices that focused on movement, effort, and doing.
At first, Yin felt uncomfortable.
The stillness.
The long holds.
The invitation to simply be.
But over time, I began to notice something unexpected.
Yin wasn’t just changing my body.
It was changing my relationship with myself.
The practice taught me patience.
It taught me how to listen.
It taught me that there is wisdom in slowing down.
Some of my most meaningful insights have come while resting quietly in a Yin pose, with nowhere to go and nothing to achieve.
Over the years, Yin has become one of the most transformative practices in my life—not because it asks more of me, but because it asks less.
It reminds me that growth doesn’t always happen through effort.
Sometimes it happens through presence.
That love for the practice is what inspired me to co-create this training.
I want to share not only the techniques and theory behind Yin Yoga, but also the depth, healing, and self-discovery that can emerge when we learn to slow down and listen.
I’d love to know what first brought you to Yin Yoga?

What Makes This Training
Different From
Large Online Certifications?
Online trainings can be incredibly convenient.
But if you’ve ever finished an online certification and still felt unsure about applying what you learned, you’re not alone.
Information and integration are not the same thing.
One of the things that makes this Yin Yoga Teacher Training unique is the opportunity to learn through direct experience.
Together we’ll explore:
✓ Functional anatomy for Yin
✓ Traditional Chinese Medicine and meridian theory
✓ Yin postures, props and modifications
✓ Sequencing and class design
✓ Meditation, breathwork and energetics
✓ Practice teaching with feedback
You’ll have opportunities to ask questions, practice cueing, receive guidance, and gain confidence in a supportive environment.
This isn’t about rushing through content to collect a certificate.
It’s about developing a deep understanding of Yin Yoga and learning how to apply it safely and effectively.
Whether you’re a teacher wanting to share Yin with others or a student seeking a deeper personal experience, this training is designed to be immersive, practical, and transformational.
Learning happens best when we can experience it, not just watch it on a screen.

Why We Chose to Keep
This Training Intentionally Small
One of the first decisions we made when creating this Yin Yoga Teacher Training was that we wanted to keep it small.
Not because we couldn’t fit more people.
Because we didn’t want to.
There is something special that happens when a group is small enough for meaningful conversations, individual support, and genuine connection.
Questions get answered.
Everyone is seen.
Feedback becomes personalized.
Learning becomes experiential rather than passive.
In a smaller training, there is space to explore, to practice, to make mistakes, and to grow.
Our intention isn’t to just deliver information. It’s to create an environment where students can fully embody the teachings and leave feeling confident in their understanding of Yin Yoga.
Whether you are a yoga teacher or a student wanting to deepen your personal practice, we want you to feel supported throughout the journey.
This training is intentionally intimate so that every participant receives the attention, mentorship, and hands-on experience they deserve.
If you’ve been looking for a learning experience that values depth over numbers, I’d love to have you join us.
Limited spaces available.
