BRICAS recently participated in an excellence awards program for local government primary schools to mark the official closing of the 2025/2026 school year.

The dream is bigger than just handing out regular prizes; putting a smile on the faces of deserving learners pushes them to do more. Amidst changing times in our communities, where our youths are vulnerable to societal ills and juvenile delinquency, learners need school motivation to boost their confidence in their chosen paths.

Motivation shouldn't be reserved only for the best students. We also recognize learners who have significantly improved over time, proving their dedication. Even slower learners must be motivated to help them feel they have worth in our community, which builds confidence and brings success.

Over the 3 school terms we have focused 55% on the Cognitive and very little 35% on psychomotor and 10% on Affective domains of learning.

Holidays especially this long one should not be all about the thinking (cognitive) again; it should rather be about Feelings(affective) and Doing (Psychomotor) domains of learning.
