A child is never responsible for sexual abuse. NEVER!!🙅‍♀️

The growing reports of sexual violence against infants and young children in our communities is a call for concern for us all. Every child deserves protection, safety, justice, and the opportunity to grow in a secure environment.

As parents, guardians, teachers, neighbors, and community leaders, we must:
✔ Believe and protect victims
✔ Report abuse and seek justice
✔ Educate children about body safety
✔ Speak out against silence and cover-ups
✔ Create safe spaces where children can be heard

Silence protects perpetrators. Action protects children.

Let us work together to build communities where every child is safe, valued, and protected.

👑 Every girl is a queen — crown her.

HAPPY MENSTRUAL HYGIENE DAY

Today, we raise our voices for every girl who deserves to grow with dignity, confidence, accurate information, and proper menstrual care.

Menstruation is natural not shameful.
Silence and misinformation continue to put many young girls at risk in our communities.

Let us continue to:
✔ Educate with love
✔ Break harmful myths
✔ Create safe spaces
✔ Support girls with dignity and respect

Sometimes, the greatest support is simply becoming someone a girl can trust and freely talk to.

👑 Every girl is a queen crown her.

We organized a retreat with our Bamenda team last weekend. It was truly engaging, productive and exactly what we needed 🎊

We had a deep time to reflect on our past activities, celebrated successes, shared honest feedback and agreed on a clear way forward.

The team was fully involved and great ideas and recommendations emerged like identifying key training needs in order to strengthen our work going forward.

But more than anything, we strengthened bonds that make this organization special, and had a great time of learning.

This wasn't just a meeting, it was a reset , a realignment and a reaffirmation of our commitment to driving meaningful change.🚀

Here's to another year of making an impact and building something meaningful. Stay tuned for the next big move✨

As part of our commitment to empowering communities through practical skills and entrepreneurship, we recently organised a hands-on training program in liquid soap production for volunteers and trainees.

Through this training, participants not only learned the technical process of soap production but also gained valuable insight into how vocational skills can create sustainable income and support community development.

In partnership with Sister’s Keeper, South Africa, we were able to train these women in the production of liquid soap and local detergent (omo). Very much amazed at how they challenged themselves.

In less than three months, some of them have been able to complete more than 4 rounds of production. It was a half a day training, but the results far surpassed our expectations. So proud and grateful for these determined women. Our resources were definitely put to good use. And our amazing volunteers were able to coordinate this.

Divine Mbarga Atangana,11 years old. Raped,Murdered. Silenced.

She only went to a classmate's home to study and she never came back.😔

Her cries were heard by the neighbourhood for hours. No door opened, No one came. And that silence is also what killed her.

The crime did not begin with the ra**st alone it began the moment (bystanders chose comfort over a child's well-being and life.)

At Chefusirri Foundation, we firmly stand and advocate for:
👉 Justice which must be served — fully and publicly
👉 Silence in the face of violence and complicity
👉 Every child in Cameroon who deserves protection
👉SRGBV in our communities, homes, schools, and environment

We demand and advocate for Transparent and exemplary justice for Divine and stronger protections for every child in Cameroon.✊✊
Her name will not be forgotten.

Speak up. Report abuse. Protect our children.

From Training to Transformation ✨

In December, we spent half a day with an incredible group of women, learning and sharing skills in liquid soap and detergent (“omo”) production. What started as a simple training session has now grown into something truly powerful.

Just a few months later, these women have taken the knowledge and run with it—producing consistently, selling their products, and creating sustainable sources of income for themselves and their families. Their dedication, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit have been nothing short of inspiring.

Today, we celebrate their progress and the impact of investing in women. This is what empowerment looks like—practical skills, economic independence, and stronger communities.

A small group of women in South Africa the Sister's Keeper partnered with us to make this training a reality: we are grateful for them. We are open to such partnerships : njangui groups, veterans, clubs even individuals. We can always create positive impact in our communities.

Swipe through to see their journey in action 📸
We will share video testimonies in another post.

Our volunteers stepped out last Friday as part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, engaging communities, raising awareness, and reminding everyone that ending GBV is a shared responsibility. Every conversation, every flyer, and every moment of education helps shift mindsets and protect lives. Together, we are choosing courage, compassion, and we will keep standing with survivors until every woman and girl is safe.

✨ Empowering Youth, One Skill at a Time! ✨

In celebration of International Youth Day, we hosted a vibrant Beads & Fascinator Training in Bali— a day filled with creativity, learning, and empowerment. 🎉
Our 28 young participants explored the art of crafting beautiful accessories, turning raw materials into works of beauty and pride.

Beyond the skills, we reminded them that their hands can create opportunities, their ideas can spark change, and their creativity can inspire the world. 🌍💡

We also taught them how to market and scale up their businesses. We could see the excitement and desire to learn.
We have planted the seed. Hopefully it bears fruits.

Grateful for the amazing volunteers who worked tirelessly and to Rev Neba who organized the participants for us.

Here’s to a generation of bold, skilled, and visionary youths.
