I was honored to be a mentor for Grizzly Youth Academy for two Latino students 🫶🏽

I had never heard about the youth academy before, but I respect what they do and them wanting to help at-risk youth 🫂

The experience helped the youth, but it also gave me purpose and it healed me in a moment of time when I was going through some things 💜

I never had the time to volunteer in programs that work with first-gen students 🫶🏽

Maybe it was time, maybe it was exhaustion, but I know I always wanted to do it 💜

I thank for creating the space for me to put myself out there and give back to my community 🫂

To be a resource to two students from East San Jose, the community that adopted me and that I call home, is everything, it’s my calling🔥

I’m excited for what’s to come 💪🏽
