Laboratoire LINFI

During days 5-6/11/2025, Université Mohamed Khider de Biskra, Faculty of Exact Sciences, Computer Science Department, and Laboratoire LINFI organized the first National Conference on AI and its Socio-Economic Applications. The conference was online, and it was highly appreciated by all participants. The conference was chaired by Dr. Ayad, Dr. Djerou Hamida, and Dr. Zaoui. The steering committee was chaired by Pr. Kahloul.
The call for papers published in June 2025 has attracted almost 100 submissions, which were evaluated by the scientific committee, and selected papers were presented during the two days.

The openening days has recorded five invited speakers: Prof. Sadek Terrissa (Biskra University), Prof. Chine Khathir (Ilizi University Centre), Prof. Faten Bacha (Biskra University), Dr. Asma Dhikra Bouzid (Ilizi University Centre), and Eng. Boumerzoug Hayette (Quebec, Canada).

Kiram , from the University of Biskra won the in the second edition of the GCPC competition with his teammates Raouf Ould Ali and Moussa Laribi, as part of the team " ". The 20 hours of Competition was organized by Developers Group Algiers at the École Supérieure d’Informatique ESI. They solved 26/23 problems, congratulatios !
