Her research, Crafting the Online Persona: A Multimodal Sociolinguistic Analysis of Identity Construction of Human and AI Influencers on Instagram, reflects a thoughtful engagement with contemporary issues at the intersection of language, identity, digital communication, and social media.

Would you like to make a difference in the experience of our international students while developing your leadership, communication, and intercultural skills?
As an Arts Ambassador, you will be expected to participate for a minimum of 2 weeks during our 4-week programme and support our international guests through the following activities:
✨ Welcome and assist international students during the **Induction Day**
✨ Help international students navigate campus and settle into university life
🏫 On campus (at least 2 days per week)
✨ Join our cultural trips every Wednesday
🚌 Transportation and tickets are fully covered
✨ Coordinate group communications and help build a friendly and supportive community
Most importantly, you will be responsible for ensuring that our international students feel welcomed, safe, and at home during their stay at BUE.

The international conference Global North and Global South Perspectives on Literature, Linguistics, and Translation held 7-8 June 2026 hosted delegates from Italy, USA, Netherlands, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Ghana, Senegal, Turkey, Azerbaijan, India, Ireland, and of course Egypt.

We are pleased to announce that the award-winning film *Spring Came on Laughing* (دخل الربيع يضحك) will be featured as part of our conference programme. Through four chapters, the film explores the tension between social expectations and raw reality. The movie is a cinematic masterclass in storytelling and it was awarded the FIPRESCI Award and the Henry Barakat Award.
