Samcrete Holding is proud to highlight a significant milestone for Samcrete Engineers & Contractors (SE&C) with the recent visit of H.E. Andry Rajoelina, President of Madagascar, together with the Head of State of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) to the Antananarivo–Toamasina Highway Project site, to witness firsthand the progress on the project.

During the visit, H.E. the President officially inaugurated the first section of the road proudly delivered by SE&C.

This milestone is a testament to the project’s strategic significance in Africa and reflects the trust placed in SE&C’s capabilities to deliver infrastructure that strengthens regional connectivity and creates lasting value.

We extend our congratulations to the SE&C team for their dedication and excellence in ex*****on. Together, we continue to build with purpose and impact.

We were proud to take part in the Second Egyptian-Swedish Business Forum, hosted by General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) where 23 Swedish companies convened to explore new avenues of economic cooperation and investment.

Eng. Karim Sami Saad, Chairman of Samcrete, emphasized a key driver of industrial growth in Egypt:

“Skilled labor is the decisive factor in the success of Egypt’s automotive and engineering industries. The country’s impressive progress in becoming a regional hub for automotive manufacturing, metro line production, and railway-related industries is proof of that.”

This forum highlighted the strategic alignment between Egypt’s industrial development goals and Sweden’s world-class expertise in sectors such as transport, energy, and communications.
