Awareness begins with understanding. đź’™
At our school, we believe in creating a culture of empathy, inclusion, and support for every learner. As part of this commitment, our students prepared a special video to help inform and educate others about autism and the importance of embracing different ways of learning, communicating, and experiencing the world.
We are proud of their willingness to lead meaningful conversations and help build greater understanding within our community.

Our Early Years Campus came alive this Workers’ Day as students arrived dressed in professional attire, from doctors, lawyers, firefighters, astronauts, and teachers to chefs and engineers!
It was more than just a celebration; it was a day of fun and learning. Our students explored different professions through play and conversation, sparking curiosity about the world of work and the important roles people play in our community.
The laughter, excitement, and pride on their faces reminded us that learning happens everywhere, especially when it’s joyful and meaningful.
A heartfelt thank you to our families and teachers who made this day so special. Together, we are nurturing confident, curious students who dream big about their future.

Last week, we opened our Early Years classrooms for a special “Come and Play” session with our parents.
It was a joyful time filled with laughter, curiosity and shared moments, as parents joined their children in play and experienced first-hand how learning comes to life in our EY environment.
Thank you to all our parents who joined us and made it such a warm and memorable occasion. We look forward to many more moments like this together.

🌱 Growing Together | Stage 1 Learning
Our Stage 1 students explored a powerful idea this week; how plants and children grow in very similar ways.
Just as plants need sunlight, water and good soil to thrive, children need love, care and support to reach their full potential. Through this lesson, our learners reflected on the importance of kindness, encouragement and a positive environment.
They discovered that when we speak kindly, listen carefully and show respect, we help others grow, just like sunlight helps a plant.
At Flipper International School, we believe every child deserves the right environment to flourish. Together, we continue to nurture confident, happy learners who are ready to blossom. 🌼

We eagerly await the results later this week, including the school trophy and rewards – but for now, we celebrate the hard work, talent, and team spirit of our FIS family! 🏆
