🚨 FIFA have quietly made a Classy change to the "Superior Player of the Match" award at the 2026 FIFA World Cup! 🌍🏆👏🫡⬇️

The award is sponsored by Michelob ULTRA and under normal circumstances the beer brand's logo and branding are prominently displayed on the trophy, backdrop, and official presentation photos. 🍺

However, FIFA has introduced a modified version of the ceremony for certain players due to religious and cultural considerations. ❤️🤝

Muslim stars such as Mohamed Salah 🇪🇬, Achraf Hakimi 🇲🇦 and others have received their Player of the Match awards without the alcohol-related branding visible in the presentation. 👏

Instead, the usual Michelob ULTRA logos are replaced with a neutral FIFA World Cup backdrop, while the trophy is presented as the "Superior Player of the Match" award. 📸🏆

Interestingly, 🇫🇷 Michael Olise was also seen receiving the award without the beer branding, although the exact reason behind that decision remains unclear. 👀🤔

Credit where it's due: FIFA have found a way to balance commercial partnerships while respecting the beliefs, values, and backgrounds of players from different cultures around the world. 🌍👏
