Join Dr. A. - Andrea Slominski, PhD and me on Goddess Matters this Wednesday, June 17th at 10:00 AM Pacific for a powerful conversation with Samantha Zipporah and Annie Finch on the sacred dimensions of abortion.
In a culture where abortion is often framed through politics, stigma, and polarization, what happens when we approach it through the lenses of body literacy, autonomy, spirituality, and the wisdom of the feminine?

✨ This Week on Goddess Matters ✨
Dr. Andrea and I will be interviewing Dr. Odette Springer in response to the recent headlines surrounding the website “Motherless” and the growing divide we’re witnessing between men and women in our culture.
Dr. Odette presents a powerful and thought-provoking perspective through the ancient Navajo myth of Changing Woman — a sacred story she believes mirrors the deep imbalance and disconnection we are experiencing right now.
Together, we’ll explore:
• the inevitable tensions between masculine and feminine energies
• why balance must be restored for all of us to move forward
• and how myth may offer insight, meaning, and possible pathways toward healing
This is not a step-by-step solution. It is an invitation to consider:
What if these ancient stories hold keys for how we navigate the future together?

Can you guess who I found at the Louvre?
My favorite ancient Lady, Inanna-Ištar.
Most of these I’d only encountered in books, so you can imagine my delight when I came across them in the museum.
I even tried spotting her name on a number of cuneiform tablets (the earliest form of writing as we know it)
Does anyone else get so excited by Near Eastern antiquities that they end up photographing every fragment of cuneiform in the hope that one day they’ll be able to read it?
The moral of the story: The Mona Lisa may get all of the attention, but she’s not the only legendary lady at the Louvre. Make time to visit Inanna, too.

What if the “sexually dangerous woman” was never a myth—but a tool of control?
How have stories about female sexuality been used to justify fear, shame, and violence against women?
Join us on Goddess Matters this Wednesday at 10am Pacific as we interview Emma Woods, the author of Bite Me with cohost Andrea Slominski.
We’ll explore the history of the va**na dentata myth, patriarchal control of women’s bodies, and why reclaiming female sexuality matters now more than ever.

What if your rage is sacred?
What if it’s meant to create change?
Women are taught to be nice—but what if our rage is actually power?
In this week’s episode of Goddess Matters, Andrea and I sit down with Lori DiGuardi, who shares how her research into the suffragettes uncovered a deeper lesson: when women honor their anger, it becomes a force for collective change.
This is a conversation about reclaiming your voice, your fire, and your role as an agent of transformation.

🌸Are you living from your full sovereignty or a hidden part of you still waiting to emerge?
🌸What if the “virgin” archetype had nothing to do with purity but instead everything to do with following one’s inner sense of self and authenticity?
🌸And what might the myth of Persephone reveal about the parts of yourself you’ve yet to claim?
On this week’s episode of Goddess Matters, we explore the hidden feminine archetype—Kore—with our guest Dr. Safron Rossi.
🔗Join us live on Wednesday, April 29 at 10 AM—link in bio.
Together, we’ll dive into Kore as a powerful lens for women’s sovereignty, and what it means to reclaim this energy within the psyche, regardless of biology. Rooted in the myth of Demeter and Persephone, this conversation opens a doorway into the deeper layers of feminine identity, transformation, and inner authenticity.

Together, we’ll dive into:
✨ How Eve’s story can help us reclaim our power, autonomy, and wild knowing.
