Last week our interns cooked up a storm in their cooking session!🧑‍🍳🍴

To help with budgeting, planning and cooking skills Lucy gave the interns a budget to plan and buy ingredients to make their own meal. They then used the ingredients to cook some delicious food and learn how to cook independently.

They really enjoyed this session and, of course, getting to eat their finished products at the end!

"I didn’t know really anything about construction, however since being on the internship, I’ve gained better communication skills, I’ve been supported with my anxiety and gained some more confidence. I've had the amazing opportunity of working on the Casey site where I’ve learned so many new things about construction and about myself, I’ve learned loads of things about groundwork and everything that goes into construction such as the many parts/people that go into and why it takes so long building things."

Kaci has just finished her 17 week internship placement with The Casey Group where she experienced working in an active construction site and developed her knowledge and skills. We couldn't be prouder of the progress that Kaci has made on the internship and we are so excited to support her in her next steps!

A huge thank you to The Casey Group for getting involved with the internship and helping Kaci gain experience to kickstart her career journey.
