A little post to share more of the values and vision that inspire my childminding business πŸŒΌβ¬‡οΈ

I believe that all children are unique and naturally curious learners ✨
The vision behind my setting is rooted in my passion for nature and my love of the outdoors, where children are free to explore, discover, and connect with the world around them πŸƒ
I strive to provide an authentic, nurturing home from home environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported 🀍
My goal is to nurture independent and inquisitive thinkers who feel confident to express themselves, ask questions, and share their ideas and creativity freely πŸ¦‹

Looking forward to welcoming some new families and having some adventures this Spring 2026 🫢🏻🌿

Our favourite weekday hangouts- local to Banbury/surrounding areas!
I get quite a few messages asking where we have been or for recommendations of parks- so here they are! All free to visit (some have to pay for parking). More details below ⬇️

Deddington Playpark- OX15 0QH
Parking at The Windmill Centre
There are 2 parks here- one is enclosed for smaller children and then there is a an open play area with a big wooden frame which offers more challenge plus zipline for older children. Also a really nice short woodland walk with climbing equipment. Toilet available by the car park.

Farnborough Playpark- OX17 1EA
There is no dedicated car park- park on the street but of course be mindful of those who live nearby. This is a really good enclosed park with a brilliant castle themed playground!

Upper Boddington- NN11 6DH
Parking at the community centre. The park is really good with climbing frame for bigger children and another for smaller ones. There are some picnic benches and an open field to play on. Best bit of this park is the pump track so remember to take bikes/scooters!

Burton Dasset Hills Country Park- CV47 4AB
Pay and display parking- there are a few car parks to choose from! The best place to let the kids run wild and free- we love it here! Lots of hills to climb and free ranging sheep. There is also an enclosed circular woodland walk at the bottom. Perfect place for a sunset picnic in summer, or wrap up warm and pack a flask of hot chocolate when its colder. Also great for flying a kite!

Daventry Country Park- NN12 2JB
Pay and display parking. The playpark is really good with lots of areas to play in for all ages. Also a little sensory garden area and a lovely boardwalk by the cafe and toilets. The country park itself is great to walk around- very pushchair/wagon friendly if you stick to the paths!

Oxhill- CV35 0RP
This is one of our favourite places to visit- usually open Friday-Monday but double check the website for opening hours before planning a visit. Plenty of parking. It's free to visit but please make a purchase in the cafe or gift shop 🀍

Would love to know if anyone has more recommendations to add! πŸ₯°

A really important reminder as spooky season approaches! πŸŽƒπŸ•·πŸ•ΈπŸ‘»

When you’re stocking up on treats this Halloween please remember that some sweets can be dangerous for little ones.

Lollipops, hard sweets and mini eggs in particular can pose a serious choking risk. They’re the perfect size to completely block a child’s airway. So please pick another treat.
