Happy International Women’s Day.
This year is all about .
We thought it would be the perfect day to share some important but shocking facts about Women’s CPR statistics.
Did you know, Women are much less likely to receive CPR in a public setting than men due to fear from bystanders.
There are studies from across the world which support this evidence and in some reports the statistics are up to 28%.
Due to this, the survival rate is much less lower in women than men when it comes to cardiac arrest.
During our courses we discuss things like AED placement for women and the importance of removing bras.
We provide these statements above and try to inspire confidence in helping someone in an emergency, regardless of gender.
Let’s hope that we can reduce the stigma and make a difference.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
We have been super quiet on here recently, however we have still been putting in the time and effort behind the scenes and last year saw Their Future training 100's more people from age 3 - 75!
Thank you to everyone who has shared our details with others, after attending a course, and for putting your trust in us. We hope this year is going to be even more successful with even more new clients.
As a special thank you, we will be putting on a FREE Basic Life Support Course. Donations and reviews will be welcomed but not mandatory. There are only 12 spaces available so please get in touch soon if you would like a space. (Minimum age of 14)
Please like and share and we hope you will consider us for your training in the upcoming months.

Our lead trainer has been busy this month providing first aid sessions and courses to children of all ages. Running virtual sessions, face to face groups and lessons in schools.
We have also launched our first 6 week, online programme for children who are home educated, which is currently in week 4. Consisting of independent learning, activities to complete at home and virtual learning activities.
We are passionate about children learning first aid, at any age and have taught 100's of children from ages 3-16 a variety of different topics appropriate to their age and ability.
We were fortunate enough to be invited back for the second year in a row to a girls school in Birmingham where sessions were run throughout the school day to a number of students.
Our next session will be a Basic Life Support session for a charity in Northamptonshire who support young adults in finding new careers.
We will be looking at running the next 6 week programme in September once the new school year has begun and things have settled. This is open to any child who wants to learn more about first aid at home and is not solely for home educated students.
We have more bookings coming up in September in Primary and Secondary schools and are excited to see how many children we can teach before the year ends.
If you are interested in the 6 week programme, want to discuss booking a children's group session or have a school in mind you would like to discuss running sessions in, don't hesitate to get in touch.
Feel free to share this post with anyone you think may be interested and tag your child/ren's schools in the post below.
