Last Friday, Year 7 students went to Warwick Castle to learn more about our medieval past. All students received training in battlefield combat skills by a ‘knight’, before heading off to watch a live reenactment of the story of Aethelflaed of Mercia’s rise to power, and the legendary ‘Falconers Quest’ birds of prey show. Finally had the opportunity to explore the castle ramparts or its Great Hall.

Students had a great time in PE enjoying an archery session along with a range of ball activities 🎯⚽ It was fantastic to see their enthusiasm, teamwork and focus throughout! 👏
