This afternoon, Class 1 had a lovely session at the Finchingfield Library with Jane and Catherine.
The children thoroughly enjoyed exploring a range of books, listening to stories, and taking part in engaging activities.

A huge well done to Class 2!
Our Year 2 and Year 3 children have now completed their swimming sessions at the Stambourne swim4life.co.uk pool, kindly funded by the Finche Community Group.
We are incredibly lucky to have such a supportive community that helps provide these wonderful opportunities for our children. Thank you to everyone involved for helping our pupils build confidence, develop important life skills and enjoy their swimming experience! πββοΈπββοΈ

Sports Day 2026! πβοΈ
We are so proud of all of our children for taking part, showing determination, teamwork and great sportsmanship throughout the morning. Every child gave it their all and cheered each other on brilliantly!
A huge thank you to all the families who joined us to support the children, and a special thank you to Mrs Warren for all of her hard work helping to organise and set up the morning. We couldnβt do it without you! ππ

As a result of generous donations from our wonderful supporters, we are able to fund some valuable projects in our local schools. This week is and we partnered with The Laughter Specialists Charitable Trust to share the benefits and impact of laughter on our mental health with the pupils from Finchingfield School on Friday. In a world which isn't always fun, it's great that we are able to fund projects like this for local children!

As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, we were delighted to welcome the The Laughter Specialists Charitable Trust into school today! π
The sessions were full of smiles, laughter and positivity, helping to support the childrenβs wellbeing and reminding us all of the importance of joy, connection and taking time to look after our mental health.
A huge thank you to the Creamer Fund for kindly funding this experience for our children. We are looking forward to continuing to work closely with the Creamer Fund to provide even more opportunities and experiences for our pupils in the future. π

What a fantastic week our Year 6 children have had. We are incredibly proud of their resilience, determination and positive attitudes throughout the week. They have all been absolute superstars! π
This morningβs special treat was a BIG full English breakfast π³π₯π A huge thank you to Mrs Warren and Mrs Russell for preparing such a wonderful breakfast for the children, it was thoroughly enjoyed by all!
To celebrate the end of SATs week, the children were also treated to a delicious ice cream from Winners.π¦π

Today the children tackled their Arithmetic and Reasoning papers with fantastic determination and resilience. We are so proud of the positive attitude and effort they continue to show each day! βοΈβπ

Today was the Reading paper and we could not be more proud of the resilience, determination and positive attitude the children have shown. They have all worked incredibly hard and should be very proud of themselves.
