Didn’t come home with the award… but I still came home prouder than ever! Buzzing, in fact!

Being a finalist at the UK Startup Awards East of England genuinely meant a lot, especially in the “For Good” category 🥰

Huge congratulations to all the winners and finalists 👏
So many inspiring stories, ideas and missions in one room. The biggest thank you to the UK Startup Awards for creating space to celebrate so many purpose-driven businesses.

A few years ago, I wouldn’t even have believed I’d make the drive there alone, never mind as a finalist for a business I built from an idea, purpose and a lot of persistence (and a concoction of many challenges and feelings).

Remember: Sometimes progress doesn’t look like a trophy, sometimes it looks like becoming someone your younger self would be proud of.

I think that still counts as winning ❤️

Can’t wait to attend the finals ⭐️

Social media has distorted how people measure connection, worth and even relationships.

Somewhere along the way, numbers stopped feeling human.

700 followers can feel “small” online…
but imagine 700 people standing in a room to hear your thoughts.
Imagine 700 people choosing to listen to your perspective consistently in real life.

That’s not small. That’s impact, whether it’s clear to see or not. Undoubtedly, I think this mindset affects life outside social media too.

Some connections belong to certain chapters as some people understand older versions of us and some relationships just fade as life changes.

Not every connection is meant to last forever for it to still matter deeply; online or in real life.

If you enjoy conversations around human behaviour, emotional intelligence, mindset, connection and the deeper side of life, follow along 🤍 I want this page to feel more human in a world that’s becoming increasingly… well, not human 🤷‍♀️.

What’s one perspective you think social media has completely distorted for people?

A little corner of the internet built on connection, perspective, mental health, emotional wellbeing and meaningful conversations 🌍💭💗

Here’s a breakdown of the heart behind Tyler’s Trouvailles; the experiences, values and lessons that shaped me and the reason I create content that goes deeper 🤍

I want this space to encourage people to feel deeply, protect their wonder, prioritise emotional wellbeing and build lives that actually feel meaningful.

If you’re here for growth, travel, human connection and honest conversations that matter… I’m really glad you’re here 🫶✨

Somewhere along the way, many of us stopped expressing joy freely.

We started checking how we looked before we laughed.
Thinking twice before dancing. Wondering if we were “doing too much”. If WE were “too much”.
Holding back parts of ourselves because social media made us feel watched instead of connected.

Listen up… life was never meant to be performed all the time.

The most meaningful moments are usually the smallest ones:
the uncontrollable laughter,
the random conversations,
the way the sun feels after a hard week,
the people who make you feel safe enough to fully be yourself.

Real connection isn’t built through perfection.
It’s built through presence, vulnerability and through shared moments that remind us we’re human. Each and every one of us.

Maybe healing, evolving and growing is actually just allowing yourself to enjoy life again without needing permission first.

Embrace the little things… as they are never really little at all. ❤️

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIR DAVID ATTENBOROUGH 🥹🎂Most people spend their lives trying to be seen.

David Attenborough spent his helping us see and understand the world instead.

I genuinely believe he’s one of the most important storytellers humanity has ever had and has taught so many of us to not only see the beauty of our planet BUT also the responsibility that comes with loving it.

He’s made people care about: oceans they’d never visit, animals they’d never see, countries they’d never travel and futures they may never personally experience.

That really is influence in its purest form.

I think generations of us learned some of life’s greatest lessons through his voice.

He taught us:
- to slow down
- to look closer
- to stay curious
- to understand that we are connected to something far bigger than ourselves

That’s a huge reason why I’m building Tyler’s Trouvailles around bridging generations through emotional education, meaningful connection and global exploration. 🌍

I truly believe that when people reconnect with the world, they often begin reconnecting with themselves and each other too.

A couple of years ago, I sent David Attenborough a copy of my book, My Mindful Moments: Life Skills Toolkit & Reflection Activity Journal. 📖

I never expected to hear anything back, especially as, at the time, he was 96 years old!!

But one day, I received a handwritten reply from him… and honestly, I’ll treasure it forever. 🥹

Not because it came from someone famous, because someone whose work inspired millions of people (including me) took the time to respond with kindness.

He is genuinely one of my favourite humans. 🥰

That letter reminded me of something I never want to forget:

The greatest impact often comes from people who help others feel wonder.

Happy 100th Birthday, Sir David Attenborough 🤍

Thank you for reminding us that there is still so much beauty worth protecting and thank you for helping the world fall in love with itself again. 🌍🥰 (AI image merged with my letter so we can all see his wonderful face!!)

Let’s Goa Rally – Day 5
Mangalore ➝ Bhatkal

(Delayed update!!!)
Another unforgettable day on the road as we travelled from Mangalore down the coast to Bhatkal, 160km.

The scenery today was incredible and we even stopped at the beach where, to our surprise, dolphins were swimming by (eeek!!)... One of those moments where you just stop and take it all in 🐬 🏝️

There was also a spontaneous Holi paint fight, which of course ended with us all covered in colour again… followed by a refreshing swim in the sea to wash most of it off before hitting the road again 🌈🌊

Not everything went quite to plan though. We had a bit of an eventful moment at a temple, but thankfully some incredibly kind locals were there to help guide us and make sure everything was okay. It was a really lovely reminder of the generosity and warmth of people along this journey.

Days like today capture the rally perfectly; a mix of adventure, unexpected moments, beautiful places and wonderful people… though a limited camera roll as we were GO GO GO!

As always, a huge thank you to everyone supporting and who has donated towards this journey. Every kilometre is driven with the purpose of raising awareness and funds for women and girls who deserve access to education, healthcare and opportunity. 🤍

Let’s Goa: Day 4
Mysore ➝ Mangalore 🛺🇮🇳

Our longest day yet… and definitely one to remember.
265km. Over 11 hours on the road.
Winding mountain roads, changing landscapes and some moments that required serious concentration… especially when the sun went down and we found ourselves driving in the dark. Safe to say there were a few genuinely SCARY moments and am grateful we got through that! Obviously no photos or videos because when you’re in that situation… it’s intense 😅

Along the way we made a stop at the beautiful Namdroling Monastery, one of the largest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in India where hundreds of monks live and study there. It was such a peaceful and grounding stop in the middle of a very intense driving day.

These moments really remind me how special this journey is, not just the challenge of the driving, but the places and communities we’re experiencing along the way.

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far towards this journey. Your support means more than you know and keeps the purpose of this rally at the forefront of every kilometre.

Tired is an understatement (hence the post delay too) 😅

Let’s Goa: Day 3
Bangalore ➝ Mysore 🛺🇮🇳

Another incredible day on the road as we travelled from Bangalore to Mysore, with the landscape slowly changing and the energy of the rally still going strong 💪 🚗💨

Mysore palace was absolutely beautiful and one of the very few places (so far) we’ve been without hearing all the traffic and horns!
After another long day navigating the roads, I decided to treat myself to what I thought would be a well-earned massage… Only to discover halfway through that the “oil” being used was actually ghee. Yes. Clarified butter. 🫠 So not only am I slightly more relaxed… I now smell like I’ve been slow-cooked in a curry 🤢 Honestly, this rally keeps delivering surprises 😂

Oh and I bought a wonky wooden spoon made from Teak Wood 🪵🤭

On a more serious note, this challenge continues to remind me why we’re doing it. The rally is raising funds for projects supporting education for children, skills training for women and maternal health initiatives here in India; causes that will genuinely change lives.

I still have a fair few kilometres left to go and I would absolutely love to see every single one of them sponsored 🙏

If you’d like to support the journey, donate, or sponsor a kilometre, the link is in my bio. https://gofund.me/6d6ce7804 Every donation makes a difference 💛

Thank you so much to everyone supporting from home, it truly means the world!

Next stop… more road, more chaos and hopefully slightly less butter… 😂🙏

Let’s Goa: Day 2
Vellore ➝ Bangalore 🚗🇮🇳

An eventful start where we made it about 100 metres before our clutch fell off… literally it was dragging on the floor 😅Then I took seven hours behind the wheel before passing the baton after my headache knocked it out of me on Day 1 🥺 🛺

Long, winding uphill roads. Full focus. No autopilot, just a hella lot of revving and gear changes 😅 India really keeps you on your toes…

I rewarded myself at the top with fresh coconut and watermelon. Elite rally fuel 🥥🍉

But one of the most meaningful stops today wasn’t on a mountain...

We visited a local school to donate supplies and as a teacher, I have to say… I was blown away.

The children were so proud, so confident in presenting themselves and their work.
And their handwriting at just six years old?! 🤯 Their smiles and continuous “Thank you ma’am”… no words 🥰❤️

It’s moments like that which remind me exactly why this rally matters.

It’s not just about kilometres.
It’s about connection. Opportunity. Awareness.

To top it all off… to experience all of that during Holi, being welcomed with colour, smiles and paint across my face for the ride, made it even more special 🌈

Tired. Inspired. Grateful.

Thank you to my donors for this memorable stint of my journey, it was a long one! Check out the little bump on the last slide —-> 🥴😅

Please donate if you can https://gofund.me/7bae39f79 🛺🇮🇳

On we go… 💛

Let’s Goa: Day 1
Chennai ➝ Vellore 🚗🇮🇳

What a start!! I can say that it was definitely more successful than our training day… we didn’t break down, just ran out of fuel a few times…🫠

The roads are wild, the energy is high - WE ARE ON OUR WAY! 🛺🇮🇳

A huge shout out to my first donors; you’ve made this first stint feel so empowering. Knowing you’re backing the journey makes every kilometre more meaningful 💛

This rally isn’t just about the distance. It’s about raising awareness and support for women and girls who deserve access to education, healthcare and opportunities.

Day 1 done.
Many more kilometres to go… I need your help to make the whole stint a £ per km! We can do this! https://gofund.me/190bb91ca

Let’s keep moving! Video incoming… but rest needed before I take the wheel again in the morning 🌅 🛺🇮🇳
