The stigma around men's mental health wasn't created overnight.
It won't disappear overnight either.
But every conversation, every role model, and every safe space sends a powerful message:
💙 You don't have to suffer in silence.
💙 Your feelings matter.
💙 Being vulnerable doesn't make you weak—it makes you human.
What do you think would make it easier for young men to talk openly about their mental health? 👇

Grades can measure how you performed on a test, but they can never measure your creativity, kindness, resilience, determination, or the unique qualities that make you who you are.
Remember that one grade does not define your future. Growth, learning, and perseverance matter just as much—if not more.
💭 What is one strength you have that could never be measured by a grade?
Share it in the comments and let's celebrate the qualities that make us more than our results. 💙

Feedback like this is exactly why we do what we do 💛
Every session we deliver is designed with young people in mind—meeting them where they are, keeping them engaged, and creating a safe space to explore real topics around mental wellbeing and growing up.
Because when young people feel comfortable, they open up.
And when they open up, real support can begin.
💬 Schools & educators—what matters most to you when choosing wellbeing support for your students?

Sometimes we all experience intrusive, anxious thoughts.
And that’s completely normal.
The goal isn’t to fight them or pretend they’re not there—
it’s to notice them, accept them, and gently challenge them.
You can’t always stop a negative thought from showing up…
but you can choose what you say back.

What to do when a young person says “I hate school” 🎒
You’ve read the signs… now here’s what to do 💛
When a young person says they hate school, it can leave adults feeling unsure, frustrated, or even helpless.
But support doesn’t have to be perfect — it just needs to be present.
Here are some simple ways to support them:
💬 Listen first
Not fixing. Not interrupting. Just really listening.
❓ Get curious, not critical
“What’s making it hard?” will open more doors than judgment ever will.
🧠 Validate their feelings
“That sounds really tough” can mean everything.
🏫 Work with the school
Small adjustments and support can make a big difference.
🌱 Focus on who they are, not just what they achieve
They are more than grades.
⏸️ Reduce pressure where possible
Not everything needs to be solved all at once.
🤝 Be patient and consistent
Trust takes time — keep showing up.
🌍 Seek support beyond school
Bring in external organisations who specialise in young people’s wellbeing — you don’t have to do it alone.
📚 Train staff to support wellbeing
Equip teachers and staff with the tools and understanding to respond with care, not just discipline.
👨👩👧 Work together with parents & carers
Open communication creates stronger support systems around the young person.
🔗 Create a united approach
When schools, families, and support services work together, young people feel safer, seen, and supported.
Sometimes, the most powerful thing you can say is:
👉 “I’m here, and I want to understand.”
📌 Save this for later

Talking to young people isn’t always easy.
Sometimes we default to the same questions:
“How was school?”
“What did you do today?”
And the answer is often… “fine.”
But meaningful connection often starts with better questions, not longer conversations. The kind of questions that help young people feel seen, heard, and understood.
Here are 5 questions that can help open hearts and start deeper conversations 💬 (Whether you are a parent, carer, teacher, or anyone who wants to connect with young people in your life)
Try one this weekend and see where it leads.
Which question do you think would start the most meaningful conversation with a young person in your life?
Or what question has helped you connect with a young person before? 👇
