Year 1 have had a fantastic time at the beach today! 🏖️ 🪣 🪏

We built sandcastles, paddled in the sea and had an ice cream on the sand! 🍦 Lunch was fun avoiding the seagulls! 😁

⚽🌍 World Cup Fever! 🌍⚽

In assembly this week, each class picked a World Cup team to support. There was lots of excitement as teams were revealed, and everyone is looking forward to following their team's progress.

Good luck to all classes—we can't wait to see who will be crowned our World Cup champions! 🏆🎉⚽

What a fantastic day we have had with Aston Villa Academies! KS2 children all took part in some fun and exciting games that challenged their resilience and increased confidence both on and off the pitch.

To celebrate the FIFA World Cup 2026, we will be having a special World Cup Kick Off Menu on Thursday 11th June

Children will be able to make their choices on the morning with their class teachers ⚽️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

What an incredible morning with GB Great Athlete Nekoda Davis! The children, laughter, sweated and felt so inspired to take on challenges and see them through to the end.

We are thrilled to be able to share some information about our upcoming Great Athletes event. We are excited to announce that Nekoda Davis will be visiting us on Friday 5th June.

On the event day, all pupils will take part in a sponsored fitness circuit run by their athlete, a terrific way to get all children excited about sport and realise that getting moving is really fun! So please ensure your child wears their PE kit to school that day and has a water bottle.

Their athlete will share their incredible sporting journey, a story of resilience and determination in a fun and interactive assembly.

There will also be an opportunity to ask any burning questions in a Q&A session with their inspiring role-model at the end!

Fundraising for the event begins today, as the children have gone home with their sponsorship form.

The money raised for the event will help us to purchase new sports equipment and improve levels of physical activity in our school!
