Mothers day crafts!!

So many reasons . . .

This is a good graphic and a nice reminder about the skills for listening. But it is also key to remember that some kids cannot sit still. Accommodations to let them wiggle or fidget are important.

This is a nice activity to do with kids, too! 🙂

First skills. Then reading.

Children need visual perceptual skills to recognize the differences between letters. They must understand the basics of how books work: Word by word, they tell a story. And kids must differentiate between sounds. A good foundation of skills is vital for reading!
